On the way back, he couldn’t help but let out a long sigh. I thought I was finally going to get so action, but it turned out to be the sa situation as before. Another wasted trip. So frustrating. This fire had been pent up for far too long. He feared that if he waited any longer, it would burn him away completely, leaving not even ashes behind. But there was nothing to be done about it.
With a dejected expression, Liu Ergou started his car and headed back to Fu Ya’s place. He still had to have dinner with Fu Yan that evening.

The mont he stepped inside, he saw Fu Ya lying alone on the sofa in a thin nightgown, striking an alluring pose. Liu Ergou knew she was waiting for him. He quickly walked over and scooped her into his arms.
"Fu Ya, I’m back!" he announced.
Nestled in his arms, Fu Ya didn’t speak at first, only wriggling deeper into his embrace. Then she murmured, "Hmmph. So you’ve had your fun out there and finally rembered to co back to , is that it?"
Liu Ergou hurriedly shook his head. "Fu Ya, how can you say that! I swear, I didn’t do anything last night. You can check if you don’t believe !"
Fu Ya just rolled her eyes at him. "I can’t be bothered to argue with you about that. Let’s talk about sothing serious. You got a call from my dad, right?"
Liu Ergou nodded. "Yeah, I did. Uncle told to have dinner with him and you tonight."
As he said this, a question popped into his mind. "By the way, Fu Ya, how did Uncle know I was in the city? You didn’t tell him, did you?"
