Chapter 1085: Chapter 1088 Don’t Call Auntie, I Am Your Mother (Added 2) Chapter 1085: Chapter 1088 Don’t Call Auntie, I Am Your Mother (Added 2) “Alright, stop fussing, you two…”
Lily finally steadied her body, which the two little babies had bumped into so much that she was teetering from side to side.
She noticed the bandage on Abbie’s head and lovingly stroked it, “Abbie, is your injury serious? Does it hurt a lot with the bandage on?”
The bandage on Little Abbie’s head made Lily feel very heartbroken.
Although she was worried, she did not dare to touch it because she did not know where the wound was or what the condition was.
“Yes, it hurts a lot.” Abbie had forgotten about the injury on her head until Mommy asked, and the next second, she collapsed into Mommy’s arms.
“Abbie is in so much pain, I need Mommy to stay with until I can sleep and feel better.”
“Mommy, don’t listen to stinky Abbie. Uncle Benjamin said Abbie’s injury isn’t serious, and the bandage is just to prevent him from accidentally touching the wound.”
In the mont of competing for Mommy’s attention with Abbie, Lulu always seed a bit smarter than usual.
“You can’t trust Silly Lulu’s words, Mommy, Abbie is in pain.” Abbie clung to her mother tightly and rubbed her face against Mommy.
Lily knew that Lulu was not good at lying.
So it was clear that it was Little Abbie who was using his injury to act cute.
However, even if the wound was not serious, just a minor injury, Lily still felt heartache as a mother.
She cradled one baby, coaxing this one and comforting that one.
Without thinking, her gaze incidentally swept to a familiar figure standing inside the doorway.
A lonely little figure, standing there all by himself.
His bright, clear eyes were shimring with tears.
They seed full of hopelessness, longing, but even more so, they were filled with intense fear and anxiety.
Locking eyes with Ben Lucas’s lonely and anxious look.
Her heart clenched tight in just an instant.
She, of course, knew what such a look in Ben Lucas’s eyes ant.
Looking at Abbie and Lulu, cuddled up with her.
And there stood Ben, originally her own child, afraid to take one step closer, rooted to the spot.
This sad sight was caused by them, the irresponsible adults, by her, a mother like herself.
This was not sothing Ben should have to endure.
Lily did not know that Ben had already learned her true identity.
But in that mont, she felt herself to be cruel and selfish, and extrely foolish.
All fears, all the hardships, all the dread.
None of these should be an excuse for her to keep the truth hidden from Ben.
This child, even with such sadness in his dark, heavy eyes,
Still sparkled with hope when looking at her.
Such a child.
How could she bear to cruelly hide the truth from him, to push him away.
Suddenly, Lily lowered her head and said to Lulu and Abbie, “Babies, wait for a mont.”
She let go of the two babies and got out of bed on her own.
The gazes of all three babies fell on Lily.
They watched Mommy get out of bed and walk, step by step, towards the door.
At last, she stood in front of Ben.
“Aunt… Aunt Lily.” Seeing Mommy coming towards him, Ben still couldn’t bear to make things difficult for her.
He used the term of endearnt that once felt incredibly sweet to call her.
But at this mont, he wasn’t satisfied with such a term.
“Silly Kid,” Lily crouched down, ruffling Ben’s shiny black hair.
Then, opening her arms, she hugged him.
“Don’t call Auntie, I’m your mother. Call Mommy… My little Ben.”
She finally mustered the courage to embrace her baby.
She finally decided to hide no more from him.
Tears, uncontrollably, stread down her cheeks.
Even if the next second, Ben would angrily push her away, she was determined to tell her Ben the truth.
She couldn’t bear to see him alone anymore.
Standing so isolated off to the side.
