Lily was pushed away without any guard up and sank into the soft sofa.
She looked up unexpectedly, wanting to clarify what had happened but saw Aidan Lucas had already stood up at so point, standing by the sofa, looking at her with a cold, indifferent gaze.
Dressed impeccably, he towered over her, as if mocking her shalessness.
And she, she was almost stripped bare by him, utterly disheveled.
Aidan’s icy stare was as if he was looking at a stranger.
The sofa was soft, she wasn’t hurt in the fall, nor did it pain her.

He would never allow this woman to provoke him, then disappear as she did four years ago.
“Don’t worry, I will show up in three days. As for after that… as long as Mr. Lucas you can retain autonomy over your body, of course, I will stay by your side.”
Lily did not look back but said in a mocking tone, “After all, a sugar daddy as wealthy and imposing as Mr. Lucas is not easy to find.”
“Get out—” Aidan’s eyes darkened and he fiercely let go of her hand.
To think he had just felt her petite silhouette was pitiful.
Lily staggered a bit from his push.
She still didn’t lift her head, her long hair draped over the side of her face, covering her much thinner face.
“Then, Mr. Lucas, see you in three days.” After speaking, she left the room without looking back.

As soon as Lily walked out of the study, the tears she had been holding back could no longer be controlled and began to flow.
She desperately covered her mouth to keep herself from crying out loud.
Not until she returned to her bedroom did she finally hug her pillow and cry uncontrollably.
On the other side, about five minutes after Lily left, the second personality returned.

Lily had already cried herself to sleep on the bed, holding the pillow that was wet from her tears.

“Do you like him that much?” he asked in a low voice, sitting on the edge of the bed.
His slender fingers gently brushed aside her tear-wet hair.
Seeing her face covered in tear stains, he felt his heart suddenly tighten.

Should he not have used such asures to separate them?
