Professor Marlowe was scared out of his wits.
“Mr. Lucas, no…” He barely had ti to react and tried to snatch the USB drive back.
That was sothing the second personality had entrusted to him!
But how could Professor Marlowe, who had spent so much ti in the laboratory, possibly be a match for Aidan Lucas?
The man effortlessly subdued Professor Marlowe.
“Mr. Marlowe, I will temporarily take custody of this item.”
“Mr. Lucas, it really isn’t possible, this represents the last wishes of the other Mr. Lucas…” The man who had already left with regret, he couldn’t fail to fulfill his last request.
“Are you saying he asked you to give this to Lily?” Ethan Wilson narrowed his eyes slightly.
The long, narrow eyes were inscrutable.
“Mr. Lucas… you, you’ve already won, I’m begging you, just let help the other Mr. Lucas fulfill his last wish!”
Professor Marlowe’s words were sincere, and he was nearly on his knees before Aidan Lucas.
“The winner? Hah…” Aidan Lucas gave a bitter smile, “You think too highly of , Mr. Marlowe, I’m barely able to protect myself now, and I don’t even know if I can gain Lily’s forgiveness.”
He had hurt her so, hurt the Lily whom he would willingly protect with his life.
He had no right to face her again.
“I just want to take this USB drive and give it to Lily for him.”
But Aidan Lucas knew that everything he now had was gained through the existence of the second personality.
He couldn’t afford to be weak.
Their mories were completely rged, although Ethan was sowhat critical of the second personality for altering his mories and causing him to misunderstand and hurt Lily.
But he was also thankful to his other self for the company during those dark days.
Not to ntion that in the end, the second personality chose to step aside.
No one understood the second personality’s character better than Ethan.
For soone so cold-blooded and ruthless to voluntarily step back took a trendous amount of resolve.
“Mr. Lucas, do you an to say…” Professor Marlowe thought he had heard wrong.
He was accustod to Mr. Lucas’s domineering authority and had never seen him considerate of a ‘rival in love.’
Aidan Lucas gave a self-deprecating smile, “Don’t think of as too magnanimous; if anyone else dared covet Lily, I would personally destroy all their hopes. But with him…”
He couldn’t bring himself to be ruthless after accepting the second personality’s concession.

Aidan Lucas did not return to the Lucas family but instead went directly to the manor in the outskirts left by the second personality.
His mory restored, he knew that tomorrow was the seven-day deadline, and by then, Lily would co to find him.
Lily must still think that he was the Ethan Wilson who harbored deep animosity towards her.
But Lily loved him so much; even if she was scared and fearful, she would surely appear on ti.
Thinking of the harm he had inflicted upon Lily, Ethan wished he could punch himself hard.
He was deeply remorseful, but he knew he had no ti for regrets.

Harm was harm, he had personally hurt the woman he loved. Just the thought of Lily crying out under his pressure on that day caused his heart to ache.
“Master, what are these things…” Cooper I and Cooper II stared blankly at the list Aidan Lucas had given them.
“Set up the Main Hall downstairs according to the items on this list, and make sure to prepare all other items listed. You have only tonight, no matter the cost, tomorrow afternoon… I want to propose to Lily here.”
The foolish man had personally annulled his marriage to Lily.
