“Mommy…” Abbie hugged Lily tightly, her face full of panic.
“Mommy, Lulu is okay… But, but… the old man… the old man, in order to save Lulu, hasn’t woken up yet.”

Little Abbie buried her face in Lily’s embrace, her small body still trembling slightly.
She looked so helpless and guilt-ridden that Lily almost felt her heart break as she held him.
“Don’t panic, Abbie, what exactly happened? Take your ti and tell Mommy clearly,” Lily consoled Abbie, while seeking help from David Redington.
“Abbie, tell your Mommy clearly,” David said, taking Abbie from Lily’s hands, fearing she’d tire from holding the child with her pregnancy.
The little lad shook even more violently when held by his uncle.
Seeing Abbie like this, Lily felt a terrible ache in her heart, but she was also desperate to hear about Ethan Wilson’s condition and could only watch her son eagerly.
Abbie, held by his uncle, felt as if his heart was pounding erratically.

At Lily’s daze, David’s handso face turned deathly pale.
He imdiately steadied and comforted Lily, “Don’t worry, Lily. Ethan Wilson has only fainted, not died. As long as he’s alive, brother will make sure he gets well for you.”

Even though David personally disliked Ethan Wilson, he cared about his sister even more.
