The Duke really has two heads to deal with this.

Back then, when he was mad at Sylvia, he deliberately did this to annoy her.

Who knew, Sylvia was different from other won, got angry, and without a word, left him and ran off.

Poor him and the little stay-at-ho kid David.

"Sylvia, I really know I was wrong about that. Look at these years, I’ve changed so much. To acknowledge and correct mistakes is a great deed, please forgive ."

Duke Redington is no longer caring that there are Lucas family mbers watching here.

This iron-fisted Duke, apologizing to his wife, does it so fluently.

"Father-in-law, that’s not how it works. You just said that such things are like a thorn in the heart, and an apology can’t make it as if it never happened. I mistook Hannah Ford for Lily and nearly married her. You, back then, further involved with more than twenty won... surely you didn’t mistake them all for Mother-in-law?"

"You... you shut up..." Duke Redington wanted to slap tape on Aidan Lucas’s mouth.

This son-in-law is too cruel; at a key mont, he doesn’t help but dirties the water!

"Ken, it’s you who should shut up!" Sylvia pushed Ken Redington’s arm away, stood up angrily from the seat, and moved towards the sofa.

The matter back then is her knot in the heart.

Whenever it’s ntioned, she can’t help but want to wrap Duke Redington up and kick him into the sea.

Had it not been for his temper back then, she wouldn’t have gone to M Country for childbirth.

If she hadn’t gone to M Country, Lily wouldn’t have been swapped, and David wouldn’t be autistic.

Sylvia blas all of this on Duke Redington.

Seeing his wife truly angry, Duke Redington glared fiercely at Aidan Lucas.

He was about to speak harshly, to tell Aidan Lucas, he would never agree to him being with Lily.

Aidan Lucas suddenly stood up, walked to the Duke, and whispered, "Father-in-law, calm down. If I help you persuade Mother-in-law, will you stop hindering Lily and ?"

"Humph, it’s you who caused this, and you still dare to negotiate with ." Duke Redington pulled a face, clearly not prepared to give in.

Aidan Lucas nodded, calmly said, "Alright then, let’s just say I didn’t offer."

Said it, moved to return to his seat.

"Wait, wait a minute!"

The Duke’s deep blue pupils showed embarrassnt, he said coldly, "Help appease Sylvia, I... I will consider not making things difficult for you."

Mr. Lucas stopped in his tracks, turned and smiled, "Not consider, confirm you won’t make things difficult for us."

"..." The Duke’s face stiffened, but looking at his wife sulking on the sofa, finally nodded, "Fine, fine, I won’t ddle in you youngsters’ affairs anymore. You better go and make Sylvia happy; I won’t make things hard for you afterward."

Mr. Lucas chuckled lightly, "Don’t worry, Father-in-law, I’ll handle it now."

He walked over to Sylvia, sat beside her and said sothing, a short while later, laughter was heard from Sylvia’s side.

Sylvia, who showed a sullen face just now, actually smiled.

Duke Redington stared in surprise, secretly jealous of his son-in-law, feeling itchy inside.

What did he say to Sylvia to suddenly dispel her anger?

Not long after, Sylvia returned together with Aidan Lucas.

She sat next to Ken Redington, glanced at him, "What are you still doing, I want to eat shrimp."

The Duke finally snapped out of the shock and imdiately peeled shrimp for his wife.

After serving his wife, he found a chance to pull Aidan Lucas aside.

"Kid, what did you say to your Mother-in-law just now? How co she’s so easily talked into a good mood?"
