"Molly, who taught you to say that?"
Skye Brown was really taken aback by Molly Wellington’s words.
The little princess lifted her head: "No one taught , it was my own idea. I like you, you’re sweet and warm... Aunt Skye, why don’t you marry Daddy and be my mother?"
Little Molly’s tiny hands were tightly clutching Skye’s clothes, afraid that if she let go, Skye would run away.
Even though it was just a small gesture, Skye noticed it.
She sighed inwardly—such a pitiful child, no matter how well-dressed and glamorous she appeared, she still lacked a sense of security inside.
Seeing her sleeping posture, seeing how she held on tightly, everything showed her inner loneliness and emptiness.
Skye couldn’t bear to hurt this poor child and tried to show more kindness.
She curved her lips into a warm smile and gently rubbed Molly Wellington’s head: "Little Molly, that’s not possible, Aunt Skye can’t agree to that. Because... marriage is sothing for people in love. Aunt Skye doesn’t like your father, and he doesn’t like Aunt Skye either, so..."
"What’s wrong with Daddy? You can tell , and I’ll make him change..." the little one replied without thinking.

"It’s not about what’s wrong, it’s because..."
Just as she was about to explain, the little princess suddenly started sobbing again: "No, no, Molly doesn’t want to hear it. Aunt Skye promised to help Molly... why did you break your promise just after saying it... boo hoo..."
"Aunt Skye is just like Daddy and the others, always deceiving Molly, boo hoo hoo..."
The little girl cried so heartbreakingly, her beautiful and adorable almond-shaped eyes had turned into teary eyes.
Watching her both cry and rub her eyes, even though she wasn’t her own child, Skye’s heart ached deeply.
Instinctively, she grabbed Molly Wellington’s hand, worried she might hurt her eyes, and hugged her, patting and kissing her gently. Aside from the impossible request of agreeing to the little girl’s unexpected plea.
Really, she had said everything she could to comfort her.
While soothing her, she also silently cursed Dylan Wellington from head to toe.
She really didn’t understand how Dylan Wellington was taking care of his daughter, why every ti she saw Molly Wellington, she was always crying.
The little girl cried so sadly without an adult intervening; the way she cried clearly showed she had been holding it in for a long ti.
Skye’s heart ached terribly, and after a long while, she finally managed to stop Molly Wellington’s tears.
The little girl seed to know that Skye would never agree to her request, so she sniffled and said, "A-Aunt Skye, can... can Molly stay at your house..."
Molly Wellington’s chubby little hand held tightly onto Skye.
When she asked Skye this, her dark almond-shaped eyes blinked, full of expectant sparkle.
Skye’s heart skipped a beat, and without thinking it through, she replied, "Of course you can."
As soon as she said it, Skye regretted it... She, how could she have agreed so easily?!
Even though Molly Wellington was so pitiful, after all, she’s Dylan Wellington’s daughter!
But the next second, the little bundle finally broke into a sweet smile, wrapping her arms around Skye’s neck: "That’s great, that’s great... Thank you, Aunt Skye... Little Molly loves Aunt Skye, mwah mwah mwah..."
The little girl’s kisses landed one after another on Skye’s face.
The soft touch felt as if she was embracing a little angel.
All the words of regret Skye wanted to say were stuck in her throat.
When she finally realized what she’d done, she thought perhaps she had gotten on a pirate ship.
