Capítulo 1958: Chapter 1970: Her Baby Is Alive
Aidan Lucas’s usually indifferent face instantly darkened.
He made a movent as if to co over, and Lily quickly waved her hand, gesturing with the phone to indicate she was now talking to Skye Brown.
In her heart, there was a deep sense of guilt; at this mont, she only wanted to comfort Skye.
Aidan Lucas’s brows furrowed deeply, and his attention completely shifted from Ben Lucas to the woman he loved, nestled on the sofa.

But her expression was not as Lily imagined; upon knowing the truth, she was not grief-stricken.
Skye was not sad. Her tears were not from sorrow… but from relief…
It’s so wonderful, truly wonderful…
Her baby wasn’t dead, her baby didn’t leave this world due to her recklessness.
Countless tis in her dreams at night, she saw a cute little angel waving to her.
She heard the little angel say, “Mama, it hurts so much.”
And also, “Goodbye Mama, the baby is leaving… the baby can’t bear to leave Mama, but Mama lost the baby… the baby can only be Mama’s child in the next life…”
“Wuu… wuu…” Thinking of those dreams that brought her self-bla and despair, Skye couldn’t hold back and cried into the phone.
Her sobs passed through the receiver, reaching Lily’s ears, making her heart ache with each beat.
“Skye…” Lily softly called her, wanting to comfort her, but at this mont, felt that any words were powerless.
Lily then said nothing at all.
She just held the cell phone quietly, listening to Skye cry.
Lily stayed with Skye, allowing her to cry into her ear.
Even though they were miles apart, at this mont, it was as if they were holding each other.
Lily could be there with Skye, allowing her to vent all the negative emotions and pain… just as Skye had been there for her back then.
She knew that Skye had suffered, having borne so many painful mories alone all these years.
Through this journey, Skye was so resilient, yet so weary… she crawled out of the family’s mire, and step by step, erged from the wilderness of love.
And now—
“Lily… I’m fine, I’m really fine.” Finally, Skye stopped crying.
With a hoarse voice, she told Lily, “I’m truly fine… I’m so relieved, feeling luckier than I ever have. I always thought God was unfair to , but it turns out God has been so kind to —Molly is my daughter, and there’s nothing better than this gift…”
“Lily, do you know, just until yesterday, I could still hold my daughter to sleep every night. I’m not sad or mournful at all because my daughter is still alive… she’s still alive… my baby didn’t leave, she stayed…”
“Lily… this is the best gift that God has given ! Lily, thank you… thank you for telling this news…”
