Skye Brown pursed her lips, stopping herself from laughing.
But the twinkle in her almond-shaped eyes betrayed her amusent.
She knew Dylan Wellington would contradict himself, but she didn’t expect it to happen so quickly.
She hadn’t even stepped out of the car into the club yet, and he was already regretting it.
“Thanks for your concern, Mr. Wellington, but it’s fine… I’m not afraid of the cold…” Skye brushed her long hair aside, offering him an ambiguous smile.
And handed the overcoat back to him.
She opened the car door, not waiting for Dylan Wellington to speak, and extended a slender, fair leg out of the car.
Hmph, wasn’t he just about to take her out for inspection, showing no signs of remorse?
Fine, if he doesn’t care, he doesn’t care at all; whoever cares is a coward!
The waiter waiting outside to hold the door for Skye paused noticeably at the sight of her beautiful legs.
Dylan Wellington, still in the car, didn’t miss the flash of amazent in the waiter’s eyes.
Damn woman…
Wearing a mini skirt on a cold day like this, isn’t she afraid of freezing her legs?
Mr. Wellington would never admit that Skye’s long, fair legs were exceedingly annoying to him.
After all, in the underground parking garage earlier, he still found Skye’s enticing body very appealing.
Dylan Wellington got out of the car, face calm, striding towards the woman standing charmingly at the steps of the club entrance, smiling at him.
“Put this on—” He domineeringly draped the tailored jacket over Skye’s shoulders, leaving no room for refusal.
Skye smirked, “Mr. Wellington, I said… I’m not cold.”
“You’re not cold, I’m hot.” Dylan’s tone paused slightly, then he uttered the words.
Skye: “…”
He’s hot, but what does that have to do with putting the jacket on her?
If he’s hot, he could take off the jacket and hang it on his arm, or hold it, couldn’t he?
Dylan’s seductive eyes flickered slightly as he glanced to the side: “This overcoat was picked last minute before leaving, it’s ugly, doesn’t match tonight’s outfit. It’s an eyesore in my hands, you wear it for .”
His laid-back, magnetic voice sounded utterly shaless.
Skye was almost driven to laughter by Dylan Wellington’s cheekiness, who behaves like that?

Mr. Wellington’s wardrobe was entirely filled with bespoke designer clothing.

Skye didn’t point it out, obediently wearing the overcoat.
“Okay, no problem… I’m here to accompany Mr. Wellington tonight, to let you inspect the goods. Whatever you say goes…”
Skye spoke softly, with a low laugh, dimples almost dazzling Dylan’s eyes.
As she finished, she linked her arm with Dylan Wellington, elegantly heading inside.
Although she wore a matching tailored jacket over her black dress, those elegantly swaying legs couldn’t be entirely covered.
In the interplay of light and shadow, they left a trail of blinding, ivory lines on the ground.
The two doorn opening the doors for Mr. Wellington stared blankly, successfully receiving a cold glare from Mr. Wellington.

“Mr. Wellington, Mr. Wellington, why are you only here now… Quick, quick, quick, take your seat, and just look at how hard Olivia from your company has had it, you’re late, and she’s already taken a round of drinks for you!”
The private room door opened, a wave of boisterous chatter spilling out.
The club owner, always sharp-eyed, was the first to spot Mr. Wellington’s arrival and imdiately approached with a drink in hand to greet him.
