"What, she’s telling to handle the divorce procedures tomorrow?"
In the Wellington Entertainnt office, Dylan Wellington looked up from behind his desk, reviewing so docunts.
His seductive eyes, already wicked and cold, flashed with a hint of malice.
"Y-yes..." Tom Nelson, nearly frightened to tears by his young master’s gaze, quickly lowered his head, not daring to et Mr. Wellington’s eyes.
Seeing his subordinate’s reaction, Dylan Wellington realized that his expressions and actions were too influenced by Skye Brown.
Imdiately, he darkened his face: "Heh, divorce it is. Just what I wanted. Tell her to wait at the Civil Affairs Bureau entrance tomorrow morning at 10:00. If she’s late for even a second, I won’t wait for her..."
Tom Nelson: "..."
After finishing his words, Dylan Wellington lowered his head and continued looking at the docunts in his hands, his expression extrely cold.
But the docunts that were readable before suddenly seed incomprehensible, like gibberish.
His restless mind couldn’t take any of it in.
The man was displeased.
He closed the docunts and only then raised his head, realizing that assistant Tom Nelson hadn’t left and was still standing in front of the office desk.
"Why are you still standing here? What I just said, hurry up and get going... Convey every word I said to Skye Brown."
Dylan Wellington’s cold almond-shaped eyes glanced at Tom Nelson, as if indicating that if Tom didn’t leave quickly, Dylan’s anger wouldn’t be held back.
However...
Even facing Mr. Wellington, who was filled with cold malice, Tom Nelson didn’t leave imdiately.
It’s not that he didn’t want to go, but it’s really because...
So words were hard to say.
"Mr... Mr. Wellington... that..." Finally, with his brain practically frozen by Dylan Wellington’s gaze, he stamred.
"That... Mrs. Lucas’s lawyer said Miss Brown has fully entrusted him to handle the divorce matters. He said that... Miss Brown will no longer... et with you."
Phew—
Too difficult.
Persisting, Tom Nelson silently admired his own bravery in his heart for speaking the final word.
He finally conveyed everything that needed to be said.
"No longer et with ... heh, hahahaha... good, good... Skye, truly good..."
Dylan Wellington paused between his brows, his deep cold eyes becoming even chillier than before.
And with his cold laughter, his slightly upward-angled seductive eyes were filled with a crimson anger.
Tom Nelson was so scared that his scalp was trembling.
He just, just knew he shouldn’t have said...
This task was simply life-threatening!
Mr. Wellington thought that conveying those words to Miss Brown would give him the upper hand.
Who knew that Miss Brown simply didn’t care, won’t even show her face, it was evident that she wants to entirely sever ties with Mr. Wellington.
Tom Nelson’s legs trembled as he wanted to quietly back away, yet he heard Dylan Wellington’s cold, sinister voice—
"Great, this saves my ti... Inform them, let the lawyer handle the divorce procedures for ... Tell Skye’s people that everything will be settled by the lawyer, strictly business. As for the alimony, Skye shouldn’t expect to get a penny more..."
Tom Nelson added: "Mr. Wellington, Miss Brown said she doesn’t want a penny from you."
Dylan Wellington’s eyes darkened.
Damn it, Tom Nelson wanted to seal his mouth shut, why did he have to convey such things at this mont?
"...Fine, at least she has so self-awareness." Dylan Wellington’s tone deepened, the coldness on his lips spreading bit by bit.
"Tom, handle this directly with the lawyer, no need to notify in the future. Besides..."
As if to regain his ground, Mr. Wellington suddenly stood up from behind the office desk.
"Tell the driver to bring the car downstairs, notify them—tonight holding a single’s party at the club, celebrating my return to being single. Any actresses from the company can co, outsiders too... Let them know not to miss the chance..."
After saying this, he put on his overcoat and walked out in front of a completely startled Tom Nelson.
