On the other side, Skye Brown hurriedly got in touch with Lily and relayed the situation here.
Lily was anxious as well.
Tiffany Lucas, also known as Lulu, got into trouble, and she couldn’t co over to Skye’s side because of that.
Who would’ve thought that Mr. Wellington, after so many years, would still be so stubborn, just like when Skye had just given birth to Molly.
He’s co to take the child again.
"Skye, don’t worry. I’ll make arrangents now. Don’t panic, I’ll send people to protect you, Molly, and Little Allen."
On the other end of the line, Lily was at a loss for words at how Mr. Wellington, who was quite open-minded about many things, could be so stubborn when it ca to family traditions.
With Lily’s words, Skye’s chaotic mind steadied a bit.
Lily said she’d have Mr. Lucas go talk to Mr. Wellington.
That would be good.
Just as Skye thought this, Lily called again two hours later.
"Skye, did Mr. Wellington co to see you?" Lily’s voice was anxious on the other end of the line.
Skye was puzzled, "No, I heard from people in town that he’s just been inquiring about but hasn’t co to see yet. What’s going on, Lily? Is sothing wrong?"
At this ti, Skye was like a startled bird, seeing danger in every shadow.
Yet she was also like a protective mother beast, ready to fight until her last breath to protect her child.
"No, no, nothing happened, I just find it strange..." Lily hesitated over the phone.
"Skye, did you know? I just received news that Mr. Wellington actually left, and not only did he leave, but everyone he brought with him also left, on a chartered flight, directly to the capital of Eastonia. I thought he had taken the child and left himself, but it turns out..."
When Lily first got the news, she was terrified.
She thought she was a step too late, that the people she sent to protect Skye were still on the way, and Molly and Little Allen had already been taken by Mr. Wellington.
So, her tone was so anxious when she called earlier.

Skye didn’t believe it, she truly didn’t.

Even without mories of Molly being taken by Wellington family mbers, Skye knew that it was impossible for soone who did this twice to give up easily.
"Lily, are you sure there’s no mistake, that Mr. Wellington really left? Could he be deliberately misleading us?"
"I’m sure," Lily said decisively, "My people got the information, and I specifically asked Aidan Lucas. He personally called Mr. Wellington on the satellite phone, and the old man said it himself, he was on the plane. Mr. Wellington, though stubborn, is upright and wouldn’t lie."
Hearing Lily say this, Skye, although still feeling like floating in the clouds, subconsciously breathed a sigh of relief.
It was at this point that she realized her hand holding the phone was trembling.
And the legs that had been standing straight and tense just now suddenly went weak.
"As long as it’s okay, as long as it’s okay..." Skye murmured.
