Upon hearing that Leslie would also be acting in ’Twin Flowers’, without hesitation, he imdiately refused.
Rather than saying he hated her or disliked her, that he didn’t want her in the ’Twin Flowers’ crew.
It’s more accurate to say, he was afraid.
Yes, afraid.
Afraid she would appear before him, afraid she would be within his line of sight.
Afraid she... would be like in the dream, uncontrollably seeping into his life, drilling into his heart, buried deep in restless mories.
David loathed Leslie’s scheming against him, hated her audacity to climb into his bed, disgusted that he could be emotionally swayed by such a calculating woman.
But when he saw her in that thigh-high mini skirt, dazzling in front of the cara.
He was damnably overwheld with the desire to hide her, not wanting anyone else to see.
This inexplicable feeling, sothing never felt before, arose the first ti they t again after four years, overwheld him with uncontrollable emotions.
"Enough." David coldly pulled down Leslie’s slender, white arm, removing her hands from around his neck.
The man’s handso facial features grew even sharper.
His eyes darkened, deep blue pupils covered in a layer of frost, his exquisite jaw tensed, looking as if truly angered.
Always cold and indifferent, yet not ruthless, this mont his entire being was surrounding with a nacing aura.
Silently warning Leslie to best ’know her limits’.
Such a David was undoubtedly terrifying, those extrely cold eyes falling on Leslie’s pretty, white face.
If Leslie at this ti were still as infatuated as four years ago, seeing this man as her only light and salvation.
Her heart, most likely, would be frostbitten.
But now, she was not the Leslie of four years ago.
As David’s deep blue eyes stared into Leslie’s, with an extrely dangerous tone, said: "Leslie, if you wish to continue in the ’Twin Flowers’ crew, you’d best not do such foolish things again. If you’re still like you were four years ago, I will certainly..."
"Certainly what?" The woman’s red lips slightly parted, her soft voice carrying her unique allure, cutting off David’s yet unfinished words.
Under the focus of the man’s abruptly contracted pupils, Leslie seized the chance when David opened his mouth to speak and unhesitatingly stood on tiptoe, hooking his nape again, kissed deeply.

David passively accepted Leslie’s kiss; he clearly could have just pushed her away.
Yet at the mont those familiar soft lips pressed against his, his mind as if stalled, losing the ability to think.
