Hearing Leslie actually just asked to discuss the script, rather than blackmailing or using it as leverage to have sothing happen between them.
David Redington didn’t want to admit that, at this mont, he was in a very bad mood.
And when Leslie simply and directly slipped from his embrace, picked up the overcoat from the floor to wrap herself tightly again, and collected the script from the side to walk to the suite’s living room.
The gloominess and unease in David Redington’s heart beca even stronger.
Unfortunately, Leslie seed heartless, seeing David Redington standing there without moving, and didn’t forget to call him back: "Hurry up, Ms. Redington, we need to discuss the compensation content properly."
