David Redington bit behind Leslie Howard’s ear, causing her voice to soften instinctively, rendering her unable to push him away.
She never expected David to knock on her door, and even less to appear in her room, holding her and saying he missed her.
Especially when he called her ’Leslie’, no matter how much Leslie tried to ignore it, telling herself not to think about it.
