Even though Leslie Howard knew deep down that David Redington must have rembered her back then.

It seed like he had spoiled her too much, and now she would throw tantrums at him for the littlest things.
But no matter how much he spoils her, it’s what he should do.
Because the innocent girl of the past slipped through his fingers.
If he had realized his feelings sooner back then, perhaps Leslie would still look at him with such eagerness and warmth now.
Thinking of this, David pressed close to Leslie’s back and held her securely in his arms.
From now on, he would treat her well, better than anyone else in the world.
He would be her best boyfriend, best lover, best husband…

That night, after filming ended, Director Henson ca to find Leslie.
“Leslie, here’s the latest script, take a look. Your role might beco more significant, and if there’s no issue, we might need to update your contract. It’s best to have your agency review it.”
Leslie took the script Director Henson handed her and quickly flipped through it.
