When Leslie Howard arrived at the lobby of the Reddington Hotel, she put on a slight disguise.
She wore a flat cap, let her long hair down, and also wore a mask.
Fortunately, with the recent weather change, many people had caught colds, and there were plenty of people wearing masks on the street. Otherwise, she might have looked a bit odd.
However, she could co out like this, but David Redington couldn’t.
Her boyfriend, with his iconic blue eyes and tall, slender figure, was easily recognized even if he wore a mask on the street.
So when Leslie ca over, she didn’t have David follow her.
She had t Sheila Fletcher alone before, and since it was within the Reddington Hotel, she even heard David personally calling the hotel manager before she left, as if fearing she might be kidnapped.

As soon as Leslie walked into the coffee shop, she saw Sheila waving from a table further inside.
Leslie gathered her long hair and walked over.
After sitting down, she took off her mask but kept the hat on, furrowing her brows: "Where’s Xavier?"
Seeing the empty seat next to Sheila, Leslie was quite unhappy.
She ca here to see Xavier.
"Xavier is still at his grandmother’s..." Upon hearing this, Leslie was about to stand up.
Sheila quickly pulled her back: "Leslie, wait a mont, Mom has sothing important to tell you..."
"There’s nothing more to say between you and ." Leslie picked up the mask on the table, ready to put it on.
"What if it’s about you and David?" Sheila asked.
Leslie: "..."
The woman’s beautiful eyes narrowed, and she looked seriously at Sheila, who was tugging at her sleeve: "What do you an, are you trying to threaten with him?"
"It’s not a threat, I just want to understand your situation more clearly. Leslie, don’t you find it strange? Since I know about your relationship with David, I still chose to et here."
Sheila looked at her daughter, who had grown up to be indifferent and no longer dependent like when she was young.
Her eyes were actually very similar to Leslie’s.

No matter which hotel Sheila chose to et her at, it wasn’t anything unusual.
"Leslie, so this is how you see ." Sheila took a deep breath, even though she had long known that in her daughter’s eyes, this was probably all she amounted to.
Yet her heart still ached.
Leslie now truly found it laughable: "If I don’t see you this way, am I supposed to regard you as a good mother who loves her daughter? Mom... honestly, there are very few mothers in this world as ruthless as you. Alright, what did you call out here to say, if there’s nothing, I’m leaving."
