From beginning to end, this woman rely bowed her head and apologized, never once defending herself.
Bruce Wallace, as a client, actually knew that Sheila Fletcher made the mistake because he had asked for the wrong item initially.
It was his fault, not Sheila Fletcher’s mistake.
Yet this woman didn’t explain anything, just bowed her head, wiped her tears silently, and kept apologizing.
This type of woman, if married and brought ho, wouldn’t bully his Winona, would she?
She would also be obedient and take proper care of Winona.
Back then, this was what Bruce Wallace thought. When this thought ford in his mind, even he was taken aback.
But as the CEO of Wallace family, what was there that he couldn’t obtain?
He quickly turned the thought in his mind into action.
Bruce Wallace began to pursue Sheila Fletcher actively; the more he got along with her, the more he felt her gentle nature suited to be controlled.
Even knowing that her husband had died early and she was living alone with her daughter, he didn’t mind.
Later on, he introduced her to Mrs. Wallace and Winona Wallace.
Mrs. Wallace clearly looked down on Sheila Fletcher’s background, but at least, a compliant daughter-in-law was better than those flashy vamps outside.
What’s more, she was expecting Bruce Wallace to remarry and give her a great-grandson.
As for Winona Wallace, she never respected Sheila Fletcher.
But, no matter how she ridiculed or scorned, Sheila Fletcher always maintained a submissive, gentle deanor.
And so, Sheila Fletcher finally satisfied Bruce Wallace.
He married her, letting her enter the Wallace family and from then on, she beca a noble lady.
At the sa ti, Leslie Howard, the "drag," also ca to the Wallace family. Her presence made Winona Wallace envious.
Bruce Wallace saw it all, investing in the Entertainnt Company, promoting his daughter and simultaneously bringing that eyesore of a stepdaughter into the company, making it easier to gradually snatch her resources.
He indulged Winona Wallace’s maltreatnt of Leslie Howard, even subtly hinting to Sheila Fletcher to give more acting opportunities to Winona, not letting Leslie block Winona’s way.
Sheila Fletcher always did an excellent job.
Compliantly fulfilling all his demands.
Finally, Leslie Howard was replaced by Winona, and after Bruce Wallace completed his assessnt, he stopped using contraception, permitting Sheila Fletcher to bear his heir.
"Heartless and ungrateful?" Sheila Fletcher suddenly laughed.
Sitting across the small window, Sheila Fletcher’s lips curled into a mocking smile, completely unlike her previous gentleness over the years.
"The heartless and ungrateful ones are you, Bruce Wallace, and your darling daughter Winona Wallace. Who would call , Sheila Fletcher, heartless and ungrateful? Mrs. Wallace is gone, and it was I, a feeble woman, who managed all the funeral arrangents alone.
Bruce Wallace, I’ve been more than generous to your family, who could say otherwise about ?"
"What, what, Mom... Mom is gone..."
Upon suddenly hearing Sheila Fletcher’s words, Bruce Wallace’s lips trembled, seemingly unable to accept it.
"Of course, she was angered to death by you all. By you, who abandoned the family for Winona, you unfilial son. By your beloved daughter Winona, dull and stupid as a pig, dragging down the family."
"You—you vicious woman, how dare you call Winona stupid..."
"Why wouldn’t I dare?" Sheila Fletcher interrupted Bruce Wallace disdainfully through the small window.
"Let tell you, Bruce Wallace, your daughter is as stupid as a pig, not even worth a single strand of my Leslie’s hair. Dreaming of replacing my Leslie with your spoiled daughter, ha—what arrogance!"
