It had been a long ti since she had been this close to Abraham Redington.
The last mory of their closeness lingered ten years ago, when she accidentally injured herself while hiding in his room for a sneak attack, and he applied dicine for her.
He didn’t like her even then and always loved to tease her, being sharp-tongued, making her cry.
But she really liked him at that ti.
An inexplicable fondness, she liked following him around, liked causing him trouble, liked bickering with him.
She even thought about telling her godmother and Daddy, mother that she didn’t want to marry Brother Charlie, she wanted to marry Andrew.
However, after the two of them gave each other the cold shoulder for a week and she visited the Lucas family again, he had already left for Europe without a word.
Not a single farewell.
At that mont, the young Molly Wellington deeply understood that in the heart of the second heir, Abraham Redington, she, Molly, didn’t matter at all.
At a young age, a little girl doesn’t understand what it ans to have unrequited affection, but she had already felt that deep heartache and embarrassnt.
From that point on, he didn’t return to the country, and she didn’t go looking for him, even deliberately avoiding Europe when traveling.

"What are you... what do you want..." Her distant thoughts were pulled back, Molly Wellington looked at the face enlarged in front of her with a wary look.
His cold, beautiful facial features were more intense than when he was younger.
His azure pupils narrowed slightly, the emotions in his almond-shaped eyes becoming increasingly unreadable.
Molly Wellington’s petite and exquisite fra, stood in stark contrast to Abraham’s tall, upright figure, and when he leaned down, he could almost completely envelop her.
The distance between them grew closer and closer, so close that from Molly Wellington’s perspective, she could clearly see the cold gleam flickering beneath Abraham’s blue eyes.
Too close...
A feeling beyond words erged from deep within her heart, an aching, swelling feeling that filled her heart.
Molly Wellington’s dense lashes blinked uncontrollably, her face flushed red, even hot.
She didn’t know what was happening to her, it was just that even breathing beca difficult.
Telling herself not to overthink, not to regard him as soone special... but when Abraham truly ca close, Molly Wellington completely lost herself.
Her fingers gripping the strap of her schoolbag unconsciously curled.
Lashes trembled slightly, a rosy hue appeared on her cheeks, and the girl closed her eyes uncontrollably.
In the shadow, Wayne Redington could see her translucent skin, tinged with pink.
And those closed eyes, trembling lashes, even stained with suspicious droplets.
Was she crying?
Scared by him?
The cold gleam under his azure eyes flickered on and off.
He gazed intently at the apparently frightened girl with closed eyes, and after a few seconds, suddenly extended his slender fingers to hook her bow tie.
"Your school uniform tie is loose." The man’s voice was so cold it carried no warmth.
Molly Wellington opened her eyes, her face showing puzzlent.
Abraham’s cold face showed a hint of impatience.
He fixed her bow tie, his cool fingertips touching her collarbone through the collar.
Evidently a gesture filled with cold, yet it felt hot to Molly Wellington.
"I... I can do it myself..." Although feeling strange, Molly Wellington’s brain didn’t have ti to process, she instinctively wanted him to step back a bit.
However, Abraham ignored her, his broad body pinned her against the car seat, eyebrows full of coldness, his slender fingers gripping her bow tie, getting extrely close.
"If you could do it yourself, it wouldn’t have co loose..." his cold breath whispered in her ear, "Molly Wellington, you really are a trouble."
