“Hmm, Lily, you guessed right… I actually just wanted to tell you about and Dylan Wellington. Dylan and I have started dating.”
“What! You and Dylan Wellington?” Lily Gray couldn’t believe it and stared with wide eyes.
“Yeah.” Skye Brown nodded, seeing that Lily Gray had no doubt and quietly breathed a sigh of relief in her heart, “We… we’ll try it out first, and see how it goes.”
She just couldn’t bring herself to tell Lily that she had to take responsibility for Dylan because she got drunk and forced herself on him.
At that mont, soone ca in to remind Lily Gray that it was ti for the banquet to start.
“Skye, co with to the banquet hall…” Lily Gray stood up and took Skye Brown’s hand.
Skye Brown was willing to go with her, but she was curious as to why Aidan Lucas didn’t co over personally.
Lily Gray saw through Skye Brown’s suspicion at once and smiled, “It’s okay, we’ll go first. Ethan had sothing co up suddenly, and he sent soone to tell that he would co a bit later.”

Soft and lodious music wafted out from the banquet hall.
Lily Gray and Skye Brown had just arrived outside the banquet hall when they ran into Emily Taylor, who was greeting guests.
“Alt, Lily, why did you co down alone… Where’s Ethan?”
“Ethan seems to have had sothing co up suddenly and asked to co first.”
“Ethan really, how could he let you co alone!” Emily Taylor looked Lily Gray up and down anxiously.
She thought that her daughter-in-law was beautiful, wearing the white gauze dress she had specially chosen for her, which made her look even more graceful.
However…
Emily Taylor’s eyes fell on Lily Gray’s feet, where half of her shoe was exposed. “Lily, these shoes don’t seem to match your dress, do they? These are for the pink dress. I specifically picked silver flat shoes for you, which would go with this white dress.”
Emily Taylor was a noble lady who was very particular about the quality of life and details of clothing.
With just one glance, she noticed the incongruity in Lily Gray’s attire.
Lily Gray only then rembered that she seed to have chosen the light- colored shoes randomly at the ti.
“Then I’ll go up and change them.” There were elevators both up and down, so Lily Gray didn’t think there was any trouble.
Skye Brown wanted to accompany Lily Gray, but Lily Gray asked her to go in first instead.
Emily Taylor sent soone else to accompany Lily Gray upstairs.
So Skye Brown didn’t insist anymore and followed Lily Gray’s advice to enter the banquet hall first.
But no one noticed…
Not far behind Emily Taylor, in a corner…
A tall male waiter was hiding in the corner, sneakily watching Lily Gray as she went upstairs.
When he saw that she only took one person with her, a sinister calculation flickered in the depths of his eyes.

Skye Brown was led by a waiter to the third table in the banquet hall, sitting next to Dylan Wellington.
As soon as she sat down, she saw Rowena Gray sitting at the second table, laughing and talking with Simon Taylor.
“The Gray family… why are they here!?”
Lily Gray didn’t get along with her family, which Skye Brown was aware of.
“Baby, you’re finally back…” Dylan Wellington leaned over and held her, “What are you looking at?”
He followed Skye Brown’s gaze and saw Simon Taylor sitting at the second table.
“You seem upset. Did you have a falling out with Ethan’s uncle?”
Skye Brown looked up in surprise, “That middle-aged man sitting next to Aunt
Rowena and laughing with her – he’s Aidan Lucas’s uncle?”
Dylan Wellington nodded, “Yeah, is there a problem?”
