Lily Gray thought she was here to see Aidan Lucas for a simple negotiation.
But she, evidently, had underestimated Aidan Lucas’s persistence towards her.
Maggie, who Lily hadn’t seen for a long ti, led her into the office.
“Young Lady, please sit here, BOSS has a eting that has been delayed, he will be here shortly.”
Lily Gray wanted to say she was not the Young Lady, but Maggie guided her to the sofa and then left on her own.

This was a test that Aidan had deliberately set up.
Although Lily Gray was on guard against him, she wouldn’t put up an intentional defence against others.
Therefore, as soon as he knew that Lily Gray would be coming today, he made preparations early on to have Maggie test her.

Lily Gray had just drank half a cup of milk when she heard a noise outside the office door.
She quickly put down her cup, moistened her lips, and straightened her clothes.
