“Yeah, Cousin… let help you, shall I?” Milly Gray softened her voice unusually, speaking with an earnest look on her face.

Lily Gray saw the two playing along with each other and suddenly burst out laughing.
As she laughed, she clapped her hands, as if she had just seen so entertaining spectacle.
“Ha, Rowena Gray and Milly Gray… I wonder, is it that I have a face that makes you two think I’m a fool and easily deceiveable? Or is it that you two are just pig-headed, thinking everyone else is as stupid as you?”
“Once would’ve been enough, but this is getting old. Are you trying to push into Aidan Lucas’s bed for Milly again? Didn’t you look back and realize, from beginning to end, your foxy tails have been showing, sticking out for everyone to see. Did you think everyone else is as stupid as you and wouldn’t notice?!”

Lily Gray sneered again, laughing, “you two are good people? I’ve seen those with thick skins, but I’ve never seen a few who are so shaless, they don’t have a face at all.”
“Lily Gray, don’t you dare go too far!” Milly Gray jumped to her feet abruptly.
“Oh, aren’t you playing along anymore?” Lily Gray casually adjusted her posture, “Just a second ago, you were calling ‘Cousin’ here and there so affectionately. Now, just a few truthful words and you can’t pretend anymore?”

“That’s enough, Milly. Let it go.” Rowena Gray didn’t dare confront Lily Gray at this point, so she could only hold Milly back.
“Lily, sigh…I don’t know why you think this way about us. But your aunt and Milly really do an well for you. Hannah Ford isn’t soone you can take lightly. If you don’t find so help, I’m truly afraid you won’t be able to cope.”
“My business doesn’t require Miss Gray’s help. Also, let remind you again, you aren’t my aunt, and she’s not my cousin. Don’t randomly claim kinship.”
As Lily Gray said this, she suddenly blinked her charming eyes.
“Oh, I almost forgot, I told you at the door just now. If I hear you claiming kinship randomly next ti, the consequence will be very miserable.”

The screams inside the study room were cut off by the closing door.
Lily Gray stood outside the door, a smirk playing at her lips, and left after a mont of satisfaction.
She then went to another room, where Skye Brown had been waiting for her.
After sitting down, Lily spoke calmly, “Skye, now, I’d like to hear your explanation.”
Understanding that the situation had escalated to where it couldn’t be hidden from Lily anymore, Skye organized her thoughts and recounted everything she knew.
A mont later.
“So, Aidan Lucas deliberately made you three lie to . Just to make the outside world believe that the woman he likes is Hannah Ford?”
“Uh-huh, it’s pretty much like that.” Skye Brown nodded her head.
Lily Gray’s lovely eyes narrowed slightly.
“Did Aidan Lucas tell you why he wants the world to believe that the woman he likes is Hannah Ford?”
“About that… he didn’t say. He just said it was for your own good.”
