She had no right to disturb Aidan Lucas.

She stood up, hastily making her way to the door in a panic.
“Alice, don’t go… If you leave like this, you’re letting your man sleep with another woman! Do you really want to watch your man climb into another woman’s bed with your own eyes?”
Sadie ran over, blocking her way.
Lily turned her eyes away, unable to face Sadie’s questioning.

She lowered her head and sipped her drink softly, “He’s no longer my man. We signed the divorce agreent before I left.”
Her tone was desolate, filled with deep self-mockery.
“Sadie, I’m sorry, I’ve oversimplified things recently. I was just thinking that I still love him, so I wanted to salvage everything…”
“But I never considered what he thinks of . I was wrong… My purpose in coming back should have been for the Gray family and Bastion, not busy trying to win back a man who no longer loves . Sadie…”
Toward the end, Lily’s voice weakened, leaving only a breathy whisper.

“No, Sadie. You don’t understand, you just don’t understand…” Lily shook her head, her eyes already misting with a layer of water.
Sadie simply didn’t understand.
A man like Aidan Lucas, ordinary won, simply couldn’t catch his eye.

The next second, her eyes closed, and she slumped backward, limp.
Sadie caught her from behind.
“I’m sorry, Alice… But rest assured, I will compensate you.”
In the dimly lit room, a king-size bed stood in the center.
Lily woke up amidst chaos.
The back of her neck hurt, and so did her head…
The last bit of mory before losing consciousness slowly returned… It was Sadie!
She had knocked her out!
Just as she realized this, without having ti to ponder her current situation, she was suddenly hit hard by sothing.
“Who…?” Almost uncontrollably, an exclamation of shock slipped from Lily’s lips.
Suddenly, the tall and majestic figure of a man lood over her in the darkness.
“Mmm… Who are you?”
She suddenly beca aware of her current predicant.
She was being pressed down on a bed, about to engage in that kind of act!!!
