But, after last night, if she had to choose again now, she might still stick to her decision from last night.
Only now did she realize that what Sadie said was right.
It wouldn’t have mattered if she hadn’t known.
But now that she was aware, she simply couldn’t let Aidan Lucas sleep with other won.
Even if it ant being called despicable, she wouldn’t regret it!
Lily finally took one last deep look at the man sleeping soundly.
Gently, she pressed a kiss on his chiseled lips.
She got out of bed, stifling the ache in her body, dressed, and left.

It was only after leaving the room that Lily realized she was standing in the corridor of a hotel’s guest room.
Her mind was a bit chaotic, but she knew she had to get back imdiately.
Yet, apart from her slightly disheveled clothes, she had nothing else on her.
No wallet, no cell phone, she didn’t even know where she would end up once she stepped outside.
“Forget all that, let’s just leave this place first.”
Lily dared not stay any longer; her heart was racing, always fearing that Aidan Lucas might chase after her.
Even though reason told her that the man was still deeply asleep, her footsteps couldn’t help but quicken involuntarily.
She hurried into the elevator.
Upon reaching the first-floor lobby, the elevator doors opened.
Lily had only taken two steps out of the elevator when an excited shout ca from the nearby coffee shop.
“Alice! Over here, here!” Sadie was standing up from the sofa, waving at her excitedly.
Lily was stunned for a mont, then lowered her head and marched out.
The damn Sadie, after having set her up, was still shaking with laughter.
Lily walked out of the hotel in a huff, and seeing this, Sadie quickly caught up.
“Alice, you can’t be serious, are you mad? Don’t tell you weren’t satisfied with the desserts I prepared for you last night?”
“That can’t be, your man looked very strong. Tsk tsk, his physique, he doesn’t lose out to those European and Arican n at all.”
Lily ignored her and continued to walk quickly.
“Co on, Arianna, really unsatisfied? What’s with that expression… Don’t tell , he wasn’t good?”
Sadie’s words finally elicited a response from Lily.
“Not good, my ass! He almost killed last night!”
Lily couldn’t stand it anymore and shouted, only to realize that they were now outside the hotel entrance, and her loud shout had caught the attention of many onlookers.
“Wow!” Sadie whistled, raising her eyebrows suggestively.
Lily quickly lowered her head and pulled Sadie away.
“Don’t talk nonsense. Did you drive here? Where’s the car, let’s get out of here…” She didn’t have the ti to settle scores with Sadie now; she just wanted to leave quickly.
Lily was in a hurry, but Sadie didn’t miss the view beneath Lily’s collar.
Being of European and Arican descent, Sadie was slightly taller than Lily.
From her vantage point looking down, she could clearly see the intertwined love bites beneath the shallow V-neck of Lily’s clothes.
And the exposed fair neck hidden by her hair also sported rosy markings.
“Wow, looks like you guys had quite a night!”
Sadie whistled at Lily insinuatingly, “Your man seems robust. How was it, getting rain after a long drought, did you have a blast last night?”
Lily deliberately raised her clothes’ neckline to avoid Sadie’s teasing gaze.
“Where’s the car, let’s go,” she purposefully dodged Sadie’s question.
But even as she pulled at the neckline, the shallow V-neck couldn’t hide the clear traces on her soft, white neck.
“There,” Sadie pointed towards a red sports car nearby, “But honestly, Arianna, why bother hiding it? With all those love bites, you’re just drawing more attention.”
