The subordinates didn’t know what was going on, but it looked a bit like Mr. Lucas and Miss Milly Gray had been intimate.
No one dared to really stop her, which allowed Milly Gray to break through and throw herself at Mr. Lucas.
Fortunately, at the crucial mont, Benjamin Lucas IX stepped forward and blocked Milly Gray.
“Miss Gray, please have so self-respect,” Benjamin said coldly, adjusting his gold-frad glasses.
Internally he added disdainfully, “Damn idiot, coming at with hugs and all. Thankfully, I was quick to react, so you didn’t even get to touch Mr. Lucas.”
He congratulated himself, thinking how clever he was!
“Ethan… look at Benjamin, he’s bullying again!”
Milly Gray bit her lower lip, making a pitiful face.
As she spoke, she deliberately touched her chest with her hand.
Because of her movent, the neckline slipped down considerably, revealing much of it.
If it had been any other man seeing this scene, they probably would have had a nosebleed by now.
However, Aidan Lucas couldn’t be bothered to waste even an extra glance on her.
He gave her a cursory look, noticed that her clothing seed sowhat similar to last night’s, then diverted his gaze.
On the other hand, Benjamin Lucas IX, who was blocking Milly Gray head-on, got a clear view of her pretentiousness and feigned coquettishness.
“Ugh—” Benjamin couldn’t help but retch out loud, attracting Aidan Lucas’s side glance.
Seeing the brooding look in Mr. Lucas’s eyes, Benjamin hastily explained, “Mr. Lucas, I couldn’t help it… it’s just that Miss Milly Gray’s scent is too overpowering.”
After explaining, Benjamin turned to Milly Gray and said.
“My god, Miss Milly Gray… it’s one thing to spray half a bottle of perfu usually, but are you poisoned today? This must have been at least a whole bottle of perfu? This strong scent— are you trying to suffocate soone?”
Milly Gray, hearing this, imdiately showed a flash of guilt in her eyes.
She had sprayed so much perfu because she feared the drug Rowena Gray had provided her wasn’t truly colorless and odorless.
She sprayed extra perfu to conceal the scent of the drug so Aidan Lucas wouldn’t notice it.
But Benjamin’s words reminded Aidan Lucas.
He too picked up on the strong perfu scent emanating from Milly Gray.
The heavy perfu made Aidan Lucas frown slightly.
Yet, at the corner of his lips, an unusual curve appeared.
The scent on Milly Gray was indeed different from the perfu lingering in the room.
Aidan Lucas was even more convinced that the woman from last night wasn’t Milly Gray.
With this realization, Aidan Lucas’s steely expression softened considerably.
He looked at Milly Gray with deep, unfathomable eyes, “Why are you here?”
If the woman from last night wasn’t Milly Gray, then why would she appear here?
The man’s voice was cold and rciless.
Upon hearing his voice and eting his dark, gloomy gaze, Milly Gray imdiately felt a chill co over her.
She steeled herself, eting Aidan Lucas’s deep, chilly gaze and forced a smile.
“Ethan… didn’t I just say, I gave you my first ti last night. Don’t you rember, or do you not want to acknowledge it? Ethan, you can’t be irresponsible. Last night, if you hadn’t told you would take responsibility, I wouldn’t have… before getting married,”
As she spoke, her expression was suggestive, and she pointed towards the hotel room behind Aidan Lucas.
The room door was still open, and Milly Gray could clearly see the king-size bed inside, which appeared to be a ss.
As she spoke, tears stread down.
She sobbed softly, “I gave you my first ti… how can you be so cold-hearted? This morning, seeing you sleeping so soundly and thinking about how vigorous you were last night, I feared you’d be hungry when you woke up, so I went downstairs to buy breakfast for you.”
