“So you are Lily Redington?” The boy’s handso eyes sparkled with a trace of light.
After Lily and Dominic Taylor had an argunt in the banquet hall, he had to leave for a bit and did not hear their conversation.
And of course, he did not know that this woman was Lily Redington.
So, was she the woman whom Milly Gray claid deliberately mimicked his mother?
Ben Lucas observed her with his black pupils full of inquiry.
So, this was what his mother looked like.
Even with her makeup ruined from crying, she was still beautiful and fragrant.

Seeing her anxiety, a warm hue flashed through Ben Lucas’s ice-cold eyes, “But, those don’t matter.”
“How could they not matter?”
She was eager to find out exactly what awful things Milly Gray and Rowena Gray had said about her.
She wanted to clear things up one by one, to explain everything, hoping to change Ben Lucas’s impression of her.
“Because…” The little boy suddenly stood up from the stone steps and slowly walked up to Lily who was sitting still.
He reached out his hand and suddenly wrapped it around Lily’s neck from the front.
“Because, I only trust myself.”
“You…” Lily was stunned, completely taken aback.
But Ben Lucas, for a rare mont, curved his lips into a smile.
Even if his slightly upturned lips paired with his cold, stern features seed a bit odd.
He said, “I trust only what I see and hear for myself. You’ve been good to ; I know that.”
After finishing his words, the boy bent his little arms, embracing her.
He trusted his feelings alone.
This woman, whom others said imitated his mother, felt nothing but good when he held her.
Even if it was pretend, he liked her.
Because when she hugged him, she had the scent of a mother.

Standing at the door of the room, she held her room key, sowhat preoccupied.
“Why don’t you open the door?”
Behind her, the serious and composed little boy gently urged.
Lily looked uneasily at the little tail following her and hesitated to ask, “Are you sure you want to sleep with tonight?”
