The villa was filled with fragrant aromas, with various ingredients laid out across the table.

Wang Hao and Xiaoyueyue were happily enjoying a hot pot al, drinking chilled beverages, and digging into ice cream.

During their ti outside, they hadn’t exactly lacked food and drink.

With Xiaoyueyue’s storage space, they ate quite well.

However, outside could never compare to being at ho.

Besides, being pressed for ti, they made do with so bread or whatever they could find.

Now, being back ho, they naturally wanted to have a proper al to replenish themselves.

While eating and drinking, Wang Hao flipped through the surveillance footage.

No one had co looking for him during his absence.

This was very much as he expected.

After all, from the start, he intended to be a sort of hands-off manager.

After all, he was just a recently graduated college student.

What abilities did he have?

Abilities require experience and gradual cultivation over ti.

Right now, he’s just a young kid. How could he possibly outplay those seasoned veterans in the business and political arenas?

Even compared to soone like Zhou Chenggong, he was far behind in terms of experience and managent skills.

There was no way around it!

So people are born into wealthy families, receiving various forms of influence from a young age, always having guidance.

Others have been navigating through society for many years.

He couldn’t compare.

Wang Hao wasn’t very inclined to get into any of that.

He just wanted to be a hands-off guy, letting others handle the work while he enjoyed the outcos.

There was no need to waste his energy on such things.

Improving his strength was the key.

As long as he beca strong enough, any sches and conspiracies would be just fleeting clouds.

Conversely, no matter how shrewd he was, if a horde of zombies ca, he could be done for.

Or if a strong superpower user ca along, they could easily replace him.

This was the post-apocalypse, after all!

The initial purpose of setting up this gathering place was simply to avoid feeling too lonely and disconnected from human society.

"Yueyue!"

Wang Hao suddenly looked at Xiaoyueyue.

"Hmm?"

Amidst her fervent eating, Xiaoyueyue raised her head, looking at him with so confusion.

"Do you need a playmate?"

Wang Hao asked softly.

Kids her age usually need playmates to play with.

A child’s world is completely different from an adult’s world.

Besides, he couldn’t always be there to play with Xiaoyueyue.

He also needed to train and sotis plan things.

Therefore, Wang Hao wanted to find a playmate for Xiaoyueyue.

There were still so kids in the villa area.

Bringing one to the villa wouldn’t be a problem.

Their parents would be very willing, too.

After all, coming to Wang Hao’s villa guaranteed safety and food.

"A playmate?"

Xiaoyueyue tilted her head and then shook it vigorously:

"No, no, I don’t want one."

Wang Hao was slightly taken aback.

He initially thought Xiaoyueyue would be delighted.

Unexpectedly, she refused so decisively and even seed a bit disdainful.

"Why not? Isn’t it fun to play with kids your age?"

Wang Hao asked with a smile.

"I don’t want to. They’re all so childish, no fun at all."

Xiaoyueyue put on an air of precociousness:

"I like being with you, having you with is enough, I don’t need anyone else."

"Hmm... but I can’t always be with you! Sotis I need to handle my own things, too.

At those tis, playing with friends ans you won’t be lonely."

Wang Hao placed so vegetables on her plate, persuading her with a fatherly tone.

"I still don’t want one. I can play by myself. Watching TV, playing gas are all good.

I can even use the drone to help you patrol.

Playing with them, all the crying and noise, it’s just so annoying."

Xiaoyueyue reiterated her refusal.

She really seed to dislike playing with other children.

"Oh?"

Wang Hao made a soft, surprised sound.

Her words reminded him of sothing.

It seed Xiaoyueyue never cried or caused a fuss.

She would occasionally act cute or be playful, but never unreasonable or throw tantrums, understanding to a frightening degree, without being annoying at all.

Whatever Wang Hao told her, she could understand and rember.

This didn’t seem like sothing a child under five could do, right?

Also, there’s the matter of her abilities.

Kids love to play and show off.

Even adults have a sense of vanity.

At previous school reunions, classmates would show off in various ways.

When the apocalypse struck, he would occasionally boast to Zhang Xiaoxiao, with a hint of vanity at play.

After all, no one is a saint!

Although everyone thinks showing off is la, they subconsciously do it and brag.

Wang Hao thought that, if it didn’t harm anything, indulging in a bit of vanity was fine.

However, Xiaoyueyue didn’t do that. Even though she had such amazing abilities, when Wang Hao told her not to use them recklessly, she truly didn’t.

Only when Wang Hao asked her to use them would she use them.

Not to ntion showing off in front of others.

Putting himself in her shoes, Wang Hao thought that if it were him, he might not have been able to resist.

Strange!

He found Yueyue to be quite enigmatic.

Could soone like Brother Wolf have such a smart and sensible child?

"Brother, why are you staring at ? Is there sothing on my face?"

As she spoke, Xiaoyueyue reached out to wipe her own face.

"Nothing! Yueyue is adorable, I just want to look at you more."

Wang Hao smiled and shook his head, picking up his soft drink and taking a few gulps:

"Since Yueyue doesn’t like it, I won’t arrange it. In the future, you can just stay by my side.

Hmm... when Sun Yaoyao cos over, you can play with her. Do you like playing with her?"

Previously, Xiaoyueyue and Sun Yaoyao got along very well.

Xiaoyueyue was so cute that even he was fond of her, let alone Sun Yaoyao.

And Sun Yaoyao’s personality was very charming, allowing her and Xiaoyueyue to have great fun together.

The two of them got along really well before.

"Yes, I like it."

Xiaoyueyue nodded emphatically:

"I like playing with Sister Yaoyao, she also told a lot of stories."

"You can play with her, but don’t trust her too much. There are many things you need to keep secret from her. Yueyue is a smart kid, you should know this, right?"

Wang Hao reached out and patted Xiaoyueyue’s head.

Even though she was very sensible, and seed to possess intelligence beyond her age, so things still required a reminder.

"Yueyue can keep secrets very well. Besides you, no one can pry my mouth open."

Yueyue vowed confidently.

Wang Hao nodded in satisfaction, though he felt sothing was a bit off about her words.

"Report, report, Captain Lin and his team have returned."

"Repeat, Captain Lin and his team have returned."

"Repeat, Captain Lin and his team have returned."

The radio crackled with the excited voice of the observer.

Wang Hao’s eyes lit up as well.

They’re back, that’s great!
