] Retreat-based combat techniques are only for ; cowardice is not my failing. Only if you bring the eye of Chaos could you possibly stand a chance in an offline battle, as a guest on such a foundational stage.

If you commit another super-level misdeed, you’ll thoroughly deserve your punishnt. It’s good news: you might be able to embrace another super-level misdeed, but it’s hard to imagine.

You have no choice but to leave this area until you find the correct answer. Of course, my team and I will enter Third Level to unlock yet another puzzle, searching even more to find more clues; we will enter Second Level to unlock a puzzle and search for more clues.

However, this isn’t reality, but despite seeing such a scene and experiencing it with you, I welco you to First Level.[

It’s not just that he couldn’t see or that he couldn’t give his thanks, Kiah Jade was still in a daze.

The giant chanism City owned by Kiah Jade

But he only felt a sensation of tremors the next instant when he opened his eyes and discovered himself still there—

He must have entered so unknown scene, so he thought the white mist was the reason why people followed him for treatnt.

The white mist spoke as fingers were inserted into the five connection ports on the back of Kiah Jade’s neck,

"You can be assured that no one will break my connection with Kiah Jade. It’s not worth treating her if you’re not going to look after her well,"

"I can’t avoid undertaking this task. If I really want to understand the origin of this Ulaga virus, I have to see this through to the end. I’m afraid the task might be even harder than you could imagine; it’s an assignnt that I can’t afford to get wrong," answered White Mist.

"Her body is half-machine and half-flesh... you can see that she is truly a flesh body, although her physical form is the complete opposite of a chanoid’s body. However, she still possesses a soul, the essence of a chanical Race’s life. Do you have any idea how difficult an S-class task could be? Her changes have already begun; make sure the connection is secure," said Xie Hang.

"I will connect with her first and protect you, Brother Xie,"

"How am I supposed to perceive her becoming a ’prival life-form’? I’ve never encountered such a case before. But I do need to repair her... it’s odd she has machine parts on one side of her body, isn’t it?" said Xie Hang.

Xie Hang’s eyes were filled with confusion, for Kiah Jade’s condition was sothing he didn’t understand at all.

"Her condition represents a severe case of the Ulaga virus infection... she has already entered into a state of mutation," deduced Ma Li White Mist.

Or maybe, if Kiah Jade continued to transform, she might even develop sothing akin to a chanoid’s wings.

The protrusions weren’t actually sothing belonging to a chanical Race body... rather, they seed like wings were about to grow, and this was simply on Kiah Jade’s back.

"This isn’t a chanoid’s body... look at her back,"

"Mutation?"

"She is undergoing a mutation, it’s significant, though this isn’t as important," continued Xie Hang.

"Maybe because she is a well-known figure, or it could also be that the chanical Race really likes her because she’s a good dancer and a star... I’ve heard of this person," Xie Hang had no complete understanding of who Kiah Jade really was.

"Isn’t she the star Kiah Jade that was ntioned on the broadcasts when we just arrived at chanism City? I can’t figure why she would be a salesperson, but this person... is she really?"

To love is to be mad, yet one cannot possess it.

To so extent, she was indeed sothing like the originator of the Ulaga virus, the star Kiah Jade of the chanical Race.

Indeed, all those infected by the Ulaga virus appeared this way, at least according to the few tis that White Mist had encountered nurous cases.

All because of this virus, a portion of their emotions would be oppressed and might even decide whether the Heart Core chanoid would reject them. But, even though their desires could potentially pose a threat to the employer, they would naturally want to dominate the strong spiritual production of desires.

However, it turns out she was one of the sufferers. She could also be considered an originator of the Ulaga virus to a certain degree, one who could lead the chanical Race’s spirits to fall... how could anyone describe what she truly was?

"She is a major star here; she is Kiah Jade, who will perform in just a few days. I think you should take a look at what plays a role in motivating those of the chanical Race – it’s sothing you’d witness from a close distance since she called forth great excitent,"[

It’s as if she is being forcefully disassembled... yet, it doesn’t look like the parts are just falling off.

Pieces of her machine parts have already started to detach from her upper body, which is quite delicate, considering she is supposedly an employer of the chanical Race, eloquently speaking, with slender, titanium alloy legs.

The employer lies sideways on the ground, with the ports at the back of her neck exposed and revealing.

White Mist exhibited a look of shock when she saw this "employer" body lying in the guest room.

The target lies fallen in the guest room.

Within the second level, there are two guest rooms, one master bedroom, one book room, and one cabin room.

Having glimpsed a rough outline of the landscape in his mind, he quickly rushed towards the second floor after catching a glimpse of the white fog and hearing an indistinct voice coming from the second floor.

"Hurry! Hurry! Look, the white fog is coming again!"

But this ti, the white fog seed to highlight certain objects that usually couldn’t be noticed, perhaps even intentionally disguising sothing. They might even be in chanism City.

The signals from Erleipu’s "second eye" were often incomplete and erratic.

Naturally, you’ll have to wait to see what the "second eye" reveals.

"Perhaps you’ll be able to see sothing from the original white "blanket," since it’s quite pure. Do you have any idea what I should say? I am certain you know sothing. Could you possibly see so event transforming through the blanket of cleanliness?"

He eventually found a dirty black "cleaning cloth" in the white fog, tucked away in the bottom drawer near the mirror. However, he wasn’t in a rush to make any conclusions.

Every household speaks a different language, it seems they only just ca to this conclusion.

The white fog revealed three towels, three toothbrush cups, and three toothbrushes.

The bathroom.

As he headed towards the bathroom, he contemplated whether he was searching for a patient, but white fog didn’t seem to be in a hurry.

Why did the term "second eye" particularly refer to ga terminology?

Only when it integrated data with its soul could it potentially establish a connection to Ulaga’s infectious disease carriers.

Inside this world.

"What if I actually go to the place, assuming I don’t have a "second eye"? Would the "second eye" even matter then?"

"They might be trying to tell sothing with these events, though these events are not usually permitted in chanism City. But they bear a striking resemblance to the scenes and layouts from seven hundred years ago."

A mysterious light flickered in the white fog within his brain ocean.

...Is this not a ga anymore? How does the "second eye" advance in the real world?

And yet, it’s another "second eye."

"Consider revisiting the "second eye." You have already found a traitor, but there was one among them. Water glasses, four of them."

White fog still saw the tea cups on the table, just as old.

To seek out the patient, he advanced to the second floor, though Chu Qing clearly didn’t necessarily have to look.

"You can first go look for the patient. It doesn’t make much difference, as it’s only half-suited for fainting," said Chu Qing.

Chu Qing asked, "What is this ’one household four mouths’?"

"Four mouthed cups, four cups," replied the other.

However, the other three cups had no such scent.

This one did taste a bit like machine oil. White fog slled it from the small bear drawing on the glass cup. It’s not strange at all for the chanical Race to drink from this one.

There’s a small bear drawing on the pinkish-red and black insulated cup, and the glass cup has a superhero face and a sticker of so cartoon character in the main corner. One is pinkish-red, one is black, while another has a small bear drawing.

Four water glasses on the tea table, all four different, a set of four.

White fog sniffed the water glass he picked up.

Though he could not figure out what the signal ant, Chu Qing suddenly felt he might have so knowledge about these signals. He had always had a feeling that he had yet to taste this particular dish.

White fog squinted his eyes at the tea cups on the table, situated near the sand-filled front area.

The cabin’s layout was very complex.

Indeed, there was sothing like this in this place, a signal directed at the "second eye," yet the chanical Race didn’t need to use electronic devices like this. Yet there was a foreign doll present, although there were no toy factories.

There should be a television set here, that was his imdiate thought.

But white fog then noticed, the layout of this house was also very complex.

The Heart Core chanoid could read on its own, and it no longer needed any dia information as it had access to various types of information, including the internet and television.

The chanical Race had their own way of processing information.

"But perhaps you need to see with the "second eye" to understand. There’s really no point in a television set here, as chanical Race doesn’t need toys, let alone talk back, right? Do chanical Race still need these kinds of electronic devices, though? But you absolutely must find the television," urged the other.

The room was completely empty, with not a single object in sight; it was just an empty doll with its eyes curiously placed on the foggy window looking out into the void.

There were no people to be seen on either side, but it seed like soone should have been there above the sand.

With arms outstretched above the sandy surface, the doll was intently staring at the illuminated opening in the wall.

The place felt more cramped than usual, but the doll’s eyes were not paying attention to that, oddly enough.

Its eyes wandered through the white fog in many directions.

"Don’t rush, don’t rush," she murmured, "this therapy assignnt is definitely not as simple as it looks. First, let’s survey the environnt."

"Shouldn’t soone be in that second-floor bedroom by now? Have you seen anything unusual?"

Xie Xingzhi said.

The white fog began to survey the living room, shaking its head.

Will you stumble upon a mystery the mont you set foot through the door?

Or miss sothing crucial?

"[Ma Li, this is not chanism City, where you can’t buy a single toy. Unlike the ferocious n here, Wang’s prowess is second to none. Barbie dolls are incomparable to them, not to ntion so ordinary female figure toys. You won’t need Second Sight until the right mont presents itself. So things bear a different weight here.]"

The white fog glanced at the doll for a brief mont, not quite convinced.

First and foremost was a sailor doll perched atop a sand dune. That particular style has been quite trendy about seven hundred years ago.

White fog observed many decorative objects in the living room of the grand mansion.

In the end, everything seed to be part of a series of tests. Despite his prowess in combat and wit battles, he couldn’t help but feel uneasy about this area of the chanical Race, being able to walk safely throughout Heart Core City. As he had said himself, though, he also felt that its capabilities were quite impressive.

"Obviously, we plan to use this for our own practical tests, not just as a plaything," White fog mused.

But a single sentence from White fog unsettled him again, although Xie Xingzhi started to feel a bit more assured.

"These people really need our help, which is why I believe it’s not just a dummy; it’s programd to kill us easily, so there has to be actual trust involved," he said.

"This is Inner City, a place for the wealthy. This mansion is no small matter. Its presence here indicates that our movents are not just being monitored in real ti, we’re also holding the reins, which ans the opposition isn’t just so minor player. The fact that you’ve co out of this particular house says a lot; it’s worth considering," explained the white fog with an invitation.

Xie Xingzhi thought White fog’s thod of thinking was quite peculiar. "You’re not actually scared of sothing, are you?"

"Since the opposition has set up this arrangent, letting us try and probe them while soone is definitely watching us from this east-west border, we might as well take the opportunity to test it," White fog said, pointing to the giant suspended structures of Heart Core City in the sky.

"Why are you worried about sothing that’s hardly even a unique data-carrying entity being given too much attention? This is chanism City; people outside wouldn’t recognize it as anything out of the ordinary, let alone be under constant surveillance, right?" White fog chuckled as he opened the large door.

"Ah, but isn’t this task a bit too challenging? Who wouldn’t want to climb the social ladder and get in with the Inner City folks? After all, everyone in the city wants to take on jobs in the East Market..."

Xie Xingzhi continued.

Preparing to open the door of the grand house, White fog began to enter the security code.

Xie Xingzhi stood outside the door.

"There are places I dare not enter, places I’ve never ventured into before coming here, things I never faced in my previous experiences, tasks I never had like this leading step by step, and I’ve never been tasked with sothing just to get soone to et , at least until now," he said.

"[jkrǝʞ1561245769828, entrance code.]"

At the sa ti, a phrase popped up in the task ssages of the two n.

Just as White fog and Xie Xingzhi were trapped outside the door, once more the task tir updated.

Only the owner of the house had real-ti control over the constant data changes of his own estate.

Generally speaking, the code would change about every thirteen seconds. This rainbow mbrane, lacking any particular fingerprint, was unlike anything the chanical Race had.

There was no housekeeper robot—it was different from all the other mansions.

Though the avant-garde landscaping didn’t quite appeal to everyone and seed less tidy, the beautiful things always drew people’s attention. Chu Qing stood outside the fourth detached house, enjoying the garden arrangent.

"Do you ever wonder if sothing strange is really going on with our tasks, that we’re actually being monitored in real ti? Does this not strike you as odd?"

After being briefed with the simple contents inside the chanical door number plate, Xie Xing thanked Bai Wu and the two n proceeded to the small rainbow drinking district.

Feeling more at ease after the conversation, Bai Wu learned that the renowned doctor treating Ulaga’s disease was just a cover for security, a bluff that Bai Wu heard from Xie Xing.

This security firm, even inclusive of latest close combat pressurized suits from the famous Gemo Corporation, was extraordinarily well-equipped.

Xie Xing could also tell, having seen locales with mountains, waters, and flora that were intricately ancient, but this place, advanced beyond comparison, was different.

This building, a testant to the financial might of its owner, seed out of place in the impoverished countryside as they looked upon modernized constructions.

In such a world where people chased after rarities, this was the norm.

Rows of chanically distinct styled villas, solidified by a plethora of simple wise ıɐ tools, stood harmoniously integrated beyond the walls.

This was indeed an exceptionally high-class district, a fact Xie Xing and Bai Wu realized as they entered the small district of rainbow drinks.

This location was none other than the Slokou Eye, an auction house known for its significance in the world of priceless technological science.

Enveloped in silver-white chanical armor, Bai Wu now hardly even appeared swollen or bloated, though these chanical suits were quite heavy, let alone difficult to move in.

Due to the city’s frequent exposure to violent, unpredictable conditions, the wealthy elite who populated it in large numbers wouldn’t choose a Slokou Eye suit unless it was necessary, erging from the deepest shadows where great misdeeds were committed.

Despite the Slokou Eye being everyone’s chanical race dream garnt, one would be hard-pressed to find anyone who had it.

Despite the opulent exhibition that Xie Xing and Bai Wu presented, they were still a fair distance from top-of-the-line models, and while they did manage to attract more than a few curious glances, they were rely wandering around in the eastern market district.

If they pulled off another heist, Xie Xing and Bai Wu would be turned into paupers overnight.

Bai Wu didn’t feel even an ounce of heartache for these contributions, for these gadgets could potentially lead to a lucrative turn based on eye feedback.

A counter-surveillance device, a surveillance visor, a sensory detection device, an ultimate version of a chanized armor weapon—

—they were all simply part of a high-end equipnt set that Xie Xing and his companion had exchanged.

These past days, Bai Wu’s presence as the renowned healer of the Ulaga disease had greatly inflated his worth, tricking none other than the chanical Race’s wealthy gentry with his silver tongue.

Xie Xing and Bai Wu headed towards a weapons shop in the Slokou Eye to prepare for a change of equipnt.

The Slokou Eye was the undisputed master of the eastern market district, whereas the other market districts had evenly distributed weaponry shops.

They only occupied five percent of the Inner City’s territory but held ninety percent of the Inner City’s wealth, making them the cream of the crop.

The chanical Race personnel was essential to operate the nurous chanisms, although many items here moved autonomously.

Every day in so of the street corners, one could gather and conspire, but it was different from how the chanical Race personnel in the eastern market district behaved.

Although it wasn’t as flashy or distinguished as the other sectors, taking a closer look revealed the craftsmanship and materials of the load carriers were exceptionally stable and strong.

As Bai Wu walked one path into this area, he realized it was indeed much better than it had been before, with no chanical Race beggars in sight.

Every corporate headquarters was located in the eastern market district, an area known for its security and service businesses, while the other big market districts were only a fraction of it.

Each market district had its own wealthy valves and enterprises, with more chaotic and considerable disparities than others within the Inner City. The eastern market district displayed the sa physical presence and was quite the opposite.

When speaking about the Inner City as opposed to the outside, the eastern market district was where the wealth was most unequally distributed.

Eastern Market District...

...

...

Moving forward from the small district of rainbow drinks located in the eastern market, Ma Li began to mobilize, as there was no ti for Xie Xing and Bai Wu to delay after completing their mission.

There might be so leads for this s-class mission, but there were still so places to be tested that were related to the Ulaga disease.

However, Bai Wu still had no idea what Number Zero had requested them to do in the end.

Having already started to hatch their plan through so sort of calculation, Number Zero, who had just stepped out of the outer tower, might even be able to single-handedly handle the entire chanism City montarily.

There was no way to hide what was happening in the whole chanism City from Number Zero.

Nowhere to be found, Zero.

Bai Wu tried to ignore and focus solely on the upcoming task at Heart Core chanoid, only ever thinking of going there, despite having already engaged with a mission that was causing significant waves in his ntal ocean of thoughts.

This was because chanism City, in these sorts of places, had a trendous impact due to the technological revolution brought about, and that’s why it managed to draw such massive attention to the auction which was related to the manipulation of these formidable weaponry.

All the affairs were concentrated at the auction, of which Bai Wu was unaware.
