Jadeite was stunned for a mont; she was also a wise person and imdiately understood the aning of Wufu’s words.
Unless Wufu doesn’t end up with Ah Jiu, if the two really get married and Wufu becos Ah Jiu’s Princess Consort, she will be considered Beiyan people. And Beiyan’s goal to reclaim Nanyue is only a matter of ti, thus they would be opposed.

Returning to his small courtyard and receiving the warm handkerchief from the servant to freshen his hands and face, he instructed Zhu Zhi to fetch a clean small porcelain bottle. He then took a pill from the bottle Wufu had given him and put it in the clean bottle before calling his trusted steward.
"Old He, take this to Imperial Doctor Li and have him see what this dicine is all about,"
The steward called Old He promptly accepted the task and left.
After he left, Zhu Zhi served a cup of tea and asked softly, "Does the old master suspect there’s a problem with the dicine?"
"What could be the problem, just curious about the contents. That girl surely wouldn’t give a bottle of poison," Old Mr. ng said irritably.
Zhu Zhi replied with a smile, "Of course, anyone noticed by the old master must have so exceptional qualities."
Old Mr. ng sipped his tea and said, "Speaking of exceptional qualities, it’s hard to distinguish just yet. She rely caught my eye."

Old Mr. ng chuckled. Being old, he spoke for a while before resting again.
