With Wufu’s blood flowing more and more, her face grew increasingly pale, while Ah Jiu’s face contorted in pain. The Gu Insect in his chest kept wandering, giving the impression it was about to burst through the skin.
"Can’t we grab it and dig it out?" Wufu trembled as she spoke, her lips shaking. Mo Lan supported her from behind and could feel the strength leaving her body.
Ah Sang said, "It moves quickly; as soon as we make a cut, it runs away. If we pierce the heart, who will take responsibility?"
Poof!
Ah Jiu spat out a mouthful of blood, splattering it all over Yuan Ye.
"Ah Jiu..." Wufu was frantic.
"Heart-consuming pain, blood from the heart, this Gu is indeed domineering," remarked an elder, his eyes bright.
Ah Jiu fainted.
"We can’t let him faint," Ah Sang said sowhat nervously, looking at Bai Xiaobai. "Use the needle, wake him up; otherwise, he might completely die in his sleep."
Bai Xiaobai hurriedly unfolded the cloth wrapped around the Golden Needle, extracted a long needle, and directly pierced it into the major point on Ah Jiu’s head.
Ah Jiu slowly opened his eyes, feeling the heart-eating pain, and couldn’t help but cry out in agony, struggling fiercely.
Wufu wasn’t faring any better; her fingers were cut into a bloody ss, yet the blood flowed almost no longer.
"Wrist." Wufu’s face was as pale as paper, seeing stars.
Ah Sang hesitated in distress.

Ah Sang had no choice but to take a knife and make a cut on her wrist, letting the blood spill out. She held Wufu’s hand, dripping the blood onto the wound and surrounding area on Ah Jiu’s chest.
"White Ghost Doctor, is there a way to use the needle to guide it out?" An elder watched the Gu Insect seemingly lose its way and couldn’t help but suggest.
Bai Xiaobai’s eyes were red, and he pondered quickly before dropping needles on Ah Jiu’s chest, so deep, so shallow.
Ah Jiu’s body trembled, and he regained so clarity, opening his eyes, instinctively looking at Wufu.
Seeing her face as pale as near transparency, slumped in Mo Lan’s embrace, he hoarsely said, "Enough... stop."
Wufu tried hard to open a slit of her eyes, her lips moved, but no words ca out.
Scarlet blood dripped from her wrist, forming a blood line.
The air was filled with an alluring fragrance of blood, growing stronger as more was lost.
"Stop, I said stop!" Ah Jiu broke free from Yuan Ye’s hands, attempting to sit up angrily. "I don’t want you to save , I don’t."
"If you don’t want her efforts to be wasted, don’t move," Ah Sang shouted.
Ah Jiu’s body trembled violently, abandoning his struggle, tears streaming from his eyes.
Yan Er, watching from below, couldn’t help but squat down, biting his palm to prevent sobbing.
Everyone had red-rimd eyes, turning away, unwilling to watch any longer.
"It’s coming," Ah Sang observed the Gu Insect’s movent and noticed Wufu’s hand, the blood barely flowing; she’d lost almost too much. "Miss Wufu, just a little more."
Wufu couldn’t even open her eyes, her brain almost deprived of oxygen, nodding purely out of instinct.
Ah Sang gritted his teeth, cutting her other wrist.
Ah Jiu saw this, his body quivered, eyes wide open and red, a trickle of crimson, tears of blood, flowed from the corners of his eyes.
The blood continued to flow, while Ah Sang held her breath, watching a blood worm the size of a mung bean crawl from the blood hole in Ah Jiu’s chest, and shouted, "Elder Mu."
Elder Mu had been waiting, and with quick reflexes, he pinched the Gu Insect with two fingers and placed it into a small porcelain bottle, executing the action seamlessly while Ah Jiu fainted again.
"It’s out!"
Wufu seed to hear those three words from a distant place, fainting completely in Mo Lan’s arms.
