The grand opening of Suishan Restaurant was incredibly smooth with the presence of Lord County Magistrate Wen Congrui, and there was no one foolish enough to co causing trouble.
After the lunch rush at Suishan Restaurant, the number of patrons gradually dwindled. After noon, they could finally take a break, and Manager Zhong was rapidly operating the abacus, tallying the inco from lunchti.
Wufu told him not to hurry as the accounts weren’t going anywhere. She glanced at the shelf of liquors and asked, "How are the liquor sales?"
Manager Zhong responded, "Regarding the host’s question, the liquor hasn’t sold much. All our liquors are common on the market, and custors rely drink for the taste. Even if we had rarer options, without sufficient stock, we wouldn’t be able to sell them. Moreover, our tavern is just a small place."
Wufu nodded, "Suishan Restaurant should have its own brew that even ordinary folk can afford."
Manager Zhong looked at her, puzzled.
"Let’s just sell what we have for now. I’ll think of a solution for that liquor," said Wufu.
"Yes."
Wufu was very tired. After a few words, instructing them to set up the lanterns during the afternoon break, she left Liu Jin to oversee and took Jadeite to Li’s Blacksmith Shop.
Lady Li was thrilled to see her and imdiately inquired about the whereabouts of the Ghost Doctor.

Lady Li, overjoyed, blessed Wufu with a courtesy bow and then fetched a chair for her to sit.
As she sat down, Duan Rong lifted the curtain from the inner hall and ca out. Seeing Wufu and her attendant, he smiled, "I heard the bells from the back and guessed it was you."
Wufu scrutinized his complexion, which although still pale, was no longer tinged with green, and appeared much better than a few days prior.
As if aware of Wufu’s thoughts, Duan Rong turned to Jadeite, bowed with clasped hands, and said sincerely, "Duan must thank Miss Fei Cui for the dicinal gift. After taking the dicine, I indeed feel much lighter, and I am able to sleep soundly at night."
Jadeite snorted, tilting her chin up proudly, "Of course. Do you know how many good ingredients I wasted to make that dicine?"
Wufu coughed lightly and shot the girl a glance, low-key, humble, understood?
Jadeite touched her nose and awkwardly turned to examine the farming tools displayed on the stand.
Duan Rong, observing the mistress and her servant, smiled and asked Lady Li to fetch the lanterns.
Lady Li nodded and went to the back hall while Duan Rong looked at Wufu, hesitating to speak.
"Young Master Duan, feel free to speak your mind," Wufu said with a languid smile.
"I wish to know how you plan to settle us, my wife and I," Duan Rong said.
A spark flashed in Wufu’s eyes as she asked, "What would Young Master Duan prefer?"
Duan Rong chuckled, "Since we have already agreed to serve you, naturally we will follow your arrangents."
Wufu stood up, glanced at the farm tools inside the shop, then looked outside the door before turning back to face the gaunt man sitting in the chair, "In that case, how about expanding Li’s to every corner of the world?"
Duan Rong’s heart skipped a beat as he looked towards the girl backlit by the light. In the fragnted shadows, her face was partly concealed, not quite visible.
But he could still sense her confidently upturned lips, her slightly raised chin, and the wild gleam in her eyes.
Expanding Li’s to every corner of the world, Duan Rong quietly bowed his head, a smile also beginning to curl at his lips.
