Tiana Thorne actually considered, him seeking her might be to call her out for sothing, or perhaps he took an interest in her.
The only thing she hadn’t thought of was that he would directly ask her.
Actually, it wasn’t particularly surprising. This man wanted to hear her concede, yet she stubbornly refused to do so.
Tiana’s gaze gradually evolved into sothing enchanting, her red lips parted slightly, "Want it? Will Aiden give it?"
She appeared to have a delicate beauty, with an enchanting allure in her every move, charming and straightforward, expressing genuine desire.
Aiden Shaw narrowed his eyes, his dark brown pupils capturing her present image, alluring yet unpretentious.
He rubbed the ring on his left pinky with his right hand, leaned back slightly, "Miss Thorne gave quite a gift. As a return courtesy, should I also give a gift?"
The voice was calm yet carried a sense of danger.
Tiana felt inexplicably nervous.
In this world, perhaps only Aiden Shaw could make her feel this way.
She found herself growing more intrigued by him, her brows playfully arched, "So?"
Aiden Shaw closed the car window, started the ignition, still speaking in a gentle tone, "Let’s skip the late-night snack."
He played another ga, seemingly irritated.
He didn’t speak, nor did she ask.
Skipping the al was good, save money!
However, her intuition told her that the ’gift’ he ntioned wasn’t anything good.
Confronted by his clear, breeze-like gaze, she thought about her efforts over the past few days—perhaps it had co to the most crucial mont, and this was her chance to test him.
"Could you, Aiden, buy two phones as dical fees?"
"Sure."
The agreent was given decisively.
Yet the place he drove to was the hospital.
Shortly after, the car ca to a stop.
Tiana got out of the car, glanced at the surveillance cara positioned diagonally above, then turned and gestured towards Aiden Shaw inside the car.
Aiden Shaw rolled down the window.
Tiana bead a sweet and adorable smile, as if making the night wind warm as sunshine, and softly said, "Goodnight, Aiden. Thank you for bringing here."
Then she placed her hand on her lips, kissed it, and pressed it against the passenger window.
In an instant, her innocent face blushed, shyly turning to run away.
But as she turned, that face was no longer shy. Her lips curled towards the upper left, her expression full of mischief, with a trace of disdain in her eyes.
Heh.
Aiden Shaw, oh Aiden Shaw, since you gave her the opportunity, why not make good use of it?
Inside the car.
Aiden Shaw watched her playful yet bashful back, finally resting his gaze on the lipstick mark on the window, orange-red, mouth shape not fully pressed, yet in a smiling form.
Neither deep nor shallow, rather alluring.
He leaned back in his seat, raising his eyes to the surveillance cara diagonally above.
Thoughtfully rubbing the ring on his thumb.
His eyes were darker than the night sky, blacker than obsidian.
...
Back in the hospital room, Tiana remained a delicate, adorable fairy.
May Sloane was the first to glance over, checking her from head to toe, and only when finding no injuries did she relax.
Jesse Rivers stood up, instinctively looking behind her, but Aiden Shaw wasn’t there.
Just about to ask about the situation, Tiana preemptively looked up, her eyes speaking volus with faux tears, biting her lip pathetically, "I’m really sorry... didn’t expect this kind of scandal. Maybe, the role of the protagonist is not ant for ."
A pang seized Jesse’s heart, followed by confusion, "How could that be?"
Aiden coming over personally at night, isn’t it to say she’s the protagonist?
Tiana observed his puzzled expression, her heart settling in peace.
The test seed satisfactory.
Aiden indeed had an interest in her, but alas, he was too proud!
