"Alright."
Georgia hung up the phone.
She and Jodie entered the entertainnt industry the sa year.
At that ti, they were still small-ti artists beyond the 18th tier, naive, innocent, cute, dreaming that one day they could be on all the magazines and beco household nas.
They struggled together for many years.
Mom said Tiana also entered the industry, and she should keep it a secret from outsiders, not letting others know that it is her sister.
So, Jodie didn’t know.
Jodie saw her as a good sister because of a scene three years ago.
Jodie was unaware and taken to shoot a film, suffering humiliation. Georgia rushed in halfway and brought her out, taking care of her for a month.
Since then, Jodie and she beca good sisters.
Over the years, they were not in the sa company, without much competition, so the friendship remained.
Could the good news she ntioned be related to Tiana?
...
After Tiana got into the car, she looked at Finn, noticing his dark eye circles and poor ntal state.
"Finn, did you steal cattle last night?"
Finn shook his head: "Didn’t sleep well."
"Then drive to the company, and take a day off. Co back to work when you’re in good spirits tomorrow," Tiana said.
Finn didn’t refuse: "Thank you, Tiana."
"Hmm."
While driving, Finn recalled his uncle’s words from last night.
"Working at Zenith dia is just an internship for a while. When the ti cos, go to The Shaws to gain experience."
He didn’t want to, nor was he willing.
For him, the best and happiest thing wasn’t getting part of his grandfather’s estate, but living the life he wants, doing what he wants.
He didn’t want to end up like his mother and uncle...
Pushed to death.
There’s another matter he didn’t know how to explain to Tiana.
Last night, he took his cara to his uncle’s place, copied them onto his computer. Originally, he planned to delete the negatives, but he took them.
Saying these kinds of photos shouldn’t spread and negatively impact the younger generation.
Luckily, at that mont, he copied a set to his phone.
But his uncle took those photos, saying they would be destroyed, and instructed him not to take such photos for Tiana before gaining experience at the company.
He wondered if his uncle would destroy them, as he seed a bit lost looking at those photos.
Should he tell Tiana about this, or not?
Better not.
But those photos...
Truly hard to resist...
"Finn."
Suddenly pulled back from his thoughts by Tiana’s voice, he was startled: "Huh?"
"What guilty thing are you doing?" Tiana suspiciously looked at him, her dark eyes seeming to pierce through everything.
"No, no, nothing, just didn’t sleep well, a bit out of sorts."
Tiana didn’t mind. Young people these days, who doesn’t play phone gas or browse social circles until they’re exhausted?
She raised an eyebrow and asked, "Did you finish editing yesterday’s photos?"
"Uh... not yet."
"Send them to my email once they’re edited," Tiana added.
"Alright."
Soon, they arrived at Zenith dia.
Because of the photo matter, Finn went ho to repent.
Tiana didn’t return to the company, she texted May Sloane ahead, urging her to co down quickly since the announcent was quite urgent.
This was booked a couple of days ago, shooting a chocolate comrcial.
With her ability, she should be able to finish shooting quickly.
Ring ring ring...
Suddenly, the phone rang.
