She toyed with a strand of ink-black hair, gazing at her with disinterest, her eyes full of laziness, yet her smile made others feel a chill deep in their hearts.
The ticulous planning between her brows seed to indicate that everything was within her plans.
How is that possible?
She’d done everything so perfectly, it’s impossible for her to have discovered...

A nurse handed the report to him: "Dr. Garrison, these are all the test reports. There are indeed drugs in them that are harmful to Ms. Thorne’s body and are lethal considering her constitution."
Another doctor added: "Also, Chloe Vance’s fingerprints are on this. It can be confird that Chloe Vance replaced the original dicine with these two bottles and secretly administered them to the patient. If not discovered early, Miss Thorne could have been a corpse by now."
May Sloane listened, and her heart skipped a beat.
Even though she knew the matter had been managed, the fear still spread to every part of her body, making her hate Chloe Vance even more.
Rouge Jarvis took a deep breath, her eyes, as beautiful as a painting, filled with countless thoughts, her breathing becoming difficult, her hands clenched into fists, calming down after quite so ti.
Chloe Vance was dumbfounded: "How could this happen... How? I clearly gave her the dicine prescribed by my cousin. Could it be that cousin you...???"
Starting to throw dirt now.
Miles Xavier remained calm, without the slightest panic: "I checked at the pharmacy. You took the dicine I prescribed. Do you think the hospital’s surveillance is just for show?"
Chloe Vance was taken aback.
"The bottle you brought into the restroom was whole, but when you ca out, not a drop of liquid was left inside, and then you went to the place where drip bottles are disposed of. Chloe Vance, your excuses are too weak to persuade anyone to believe you."
Chloe Vance looked at him, she knew, today there was no escape, because everything had been checked by her cousin.
They kept quiet just to invite her into the trap.
Too ruthless!
Tiana Thorne acting this way against her, she had no objections, but why would her cousin help an outsider?
She shed tears, pitifully grasping Miles Xavier’s hand: "Cousin, believe , it really wasn’t , I didn’t do it, please, don’t do this to , you will destroy ."
Miles Xavier withdrew his hand, as if he hadn’t heard, handing the report back to the lab doctor: "Go archive the report, and write a detailed explanation, then call the police, hand it over to them."
"Alright, Dr. Garrison."
The three turned and left.
Chloe Vance looked at him in astonishnt: "You’re handing over to the police?"
"Using your position to commit intentional murder, you should’ve already thought that once you embarked on this path, you’d spend this lifeti in prison, wishing for death rather than life." Miles Xavier’s voice remained indifferent, almost as if the matter wouldn’t affect him emotionally in the slightest.
Just like he said, when he’s ruthless, he wouldn’t recognize anyone.
May Sloane looked at him, internally giving him a thumbs up.
Dr. Garrison, well done.
Chloe Vance, hearing this, retreated in terror: "It wasn’t , it really wasn’t , I’m innocent, I’m just..."
