Her figure was already etched vividly in Eugene Jennings’s mind. His eyes lit up imdiately, and he pointed at her, "She’s the one who ca to buy the dicine."
Chloe Vance’s heart skipped a beat, and she bit her lip hard.
Rouge Jarvis held a fruit knife, peeling an apple, raised an eyebrow, and asked calmly, "Take a good look, did you see clearly?"
He looked at the knife in her hand, swallowed, and nodded, "I saw it clearly."
Rouge raised an eyebrow again, "Are you sure?"
Fearing another beating, Eugene Jennings quickly replied, "I’m positive and sure, it was her who ca to buy the dicine. Since only small rchants co to for dicine, and she’s an individual, I took an extra look and clearly rembered it was her."
Chloe Vance’s face was already completely drained of color.
At this point, Farewell Sister finally loosened her grip on Eugene Jennings’s shoulder and walked to Chloe Vance’s side.
Chloe Vance retreated in fear, "What are you going to do? What do you want to do?"
Farewell Sister completely ignored her, grabbing her shoulder with even more force than she had used with Eugene Jennings, and viciously kicked her.
"Ah—"
Chloe Vance scread in pain, falling flat on the floor.
Tears of pain welled up in her eyes. She struggled for a long ti but couldn’t get up. Just as she was about to stand, Farewell Sister stomped on her back again.
With her face pressed against the floor, there was no way to get up.
"Let go, let go!" Chloe Vance scread.
However, no one helped her.
May Sloane watched Farewell Sister’s stance, feeling that she’d cripple Chloe Vance. Her heart trembled — this woman was too fierce!
Eugene Jennings, seeing the scene, felt fear. He dared not open his eyes fully, as if recalling his own beating, pain all over his body.
He swallowed, not daring to say another word.
Fearing Farewell Sister’s foot would land on him again.
A few more kicks like that, and he’d be half-paralyzed.
Rouge Jarvis continued playing with the fruit knife, narrowing her fox-like eyes slightly, "You’re not qualified to stand and talk to ."
Even though the Vance family wasn’t a prestigious one, they weren’t a small household either. Chloe had always been the apple of her parents’ eye, never having suffered such grievances before.
She imdiately burst into tears, her sobs filled with grievance.
The only person related to her by blood, Miles Xavier, looked at her as if she were a complete stranger to him.
While peeling an apple, Rouge Jarvis interrogated, "Tell , how did you find Eugene Jennings? How did you know how to use the dicine?"
Chloe Vance clenched her fists, not saying a word.
She didn’t dare to speak.
As she moved slightly, Farewell Sister’s foot applied more force, and she felt like her waist was about to break.
Rouge Jarvis seed to have infinite patience, neither arrogant nor impatient, lazily raising an eyebrow, "Will you say it, or should I?"
Upon hearing this, Chloe Vance tensed up in fear.
"If I say it, the punishnt you’ll face will be even greater." Rouge Jarvis added slowly.
May Sloane looked at her, the coldness between her brows, her lazily enchanting lips, and those charming fox eyes.
She finally realized where Nathan’s cunning ca from.
At a glance, she couldn’t tell the difference between Rouge Jarvis and Nathan, except that Rouge was even more ruthless. Just looking at Farewell Sister’s kick was evidence enough.
A few seconds passed, and the room was so quiet it seed you could hear a heartbeat.
After a while, Rouge Jarvis’s voice lifted slightly, "Not talking?"
Chloe Vance’s fear made her lips tremble, yet she still pressed them tightly together, trying to hold on.
The next mont, the fruit knife in Rouge Jarvis’s hand flew toward her.
