Initially, she hadn’t told her mom directly, partly fearing she couldn’t bear it.
Partly worrying that for her daughter’s sake, she might cover up her wrongdoing at all costs.
If it were the latter, a deeper rift would form between them.
Looking back now, she realized she had overthought it.
Rouge Jarvis, her mother in this life, truly was a great person.
Just then, the door to the hospital room opened.
Tiana returned to her senses and looked up, seeing who entered. There was no surprise in her eyes, as she smirked with playful amusent, not the least bit astonished.
