May Sloane nodded, "After all, this is his first step in acquiring Pinnacle. In occasions like these, attending is a must."
Tiana Thorne didn’t reply, just curled her lips slightly, looking thoughtful.
May assud she wasn’t listening closely and reminded her, "You need to appear intimate yet maintain so distance, giving everyone endless room for imagination."
Tiana toyed with her phone, spinning it in her hand before saying, "Relax, I’ll make sure the male lead feels like he’s really dating ."
May expressed her satisfaction, "I believe in your charm."
...
The next day.
The press conference was held in the Pinnacle hall, with countless reporters arriving, hoping to dig up so useful news.
Tiana lounged against the sofa in the lounge, "Isn’t the male lead getting makeup done here too? We should get acquainted."
Although knowing she was already impressive, May couldn’t help but remind her, "That’s right, Tiana, Clent Xavier is a big deal at the top actor level, you mustn’t offend him."
Tiana raised an eyebrow, a charming and alluring look, "Offend?"
"I an, peace and harmony would be ideal."
"Weren’t we talking about having that couple vibe yesterday?" Tiana said indifferently, playing with her blue nails.
They were done overnight, and the effect seed pretty good.
May, seeing her deanor and tone, suddenly felt nervous, "You... what are you up to again?"
Tiana just smiled.
But May felt like she was a devil!
At that mont, there was a knock on the door.
Tiana sat properly on the sofa, with no trace of her earlier flippant manner.
May saw she was dressed and ready, responded softly, "Co in."
The door opened.
Clent Xavier walked in first, followed by his assistant and agent.
May wasn’t very familiar with Clent Xavier’s agent, but perhaps because of their professions, upon eting, they were chatting as though they were long-lost sisters or brothers in arms.
Tiana looked up and saw Clent Xavier.
Though not overwhelmingly stunning, his temperant was impeccable. Overall, it sowhat matched the role he played in the drama.
Despite being a senior, Clent Xavier wasn’t aloof, and when he saw her, he lightly curled his lips, his voice gentle, "Hello, Miss Thorne."
Tiana stood up, looked at him coldly, "Hello."
Clent Xavier frowned slightly, puzzled as to why her deanor wasn’t pleasant.
Suddenly, Tiana spoke in a low voice, "If you want the Azure Cloud Sword, take it."
With an air of rejection in her breath, and pain in her eyes, masked by feigned indifference.
Clent Xavier imdiately understood; she was acting out a scene with him.
Before Clent could respond, Tiana smiled, her small tiger teeth particularly noticeable.
"Please teach well, Senior Clent."
She should seem cute, yet there was an air of cunning.
A montary glance, and one might think it was an illusion.
Clearly, she’s just an adorable girl.
Clent Xavier was montarily distracted, looking at her hands, white like jade, he politely extended his hand, "You’re too kind."
Tiana then withdrew her hand, maintaining a pure and pleasant distance from him.
Clent Xavier looked at her, feeling inexplicably that she was different from other female artists.
"It’s you who’s too kind, Senior Clent." Tiana smiled again, sweet as if she’d eaten honey.
Her warm and gentle smile left Clent Xavier slightly dazed. He had to admit, the first impression this girl gave him wasn’t bad.
Just then, the person in charge opened the lounge door, "Preparations are complete, the press conference is starting."
