Tiana Thorne couldn’t help but feel a ripple of warmth in her heart. Her brother, whether in a past life or this one, instinctively protected her from harm.
At this mont, she was also concerned about her second brother’s illness, so she instructed him, "Aiden, could you please get a basin of boiling hot water and a bottle of alcohol?"
Even after taking dicine, he still needed physical cooling down. If this fever continued, his immune system would weaken.
Maxim Ford nodded, and as he turned, he reminded her, "Stay in the wheelchair, don’t get up. You hear ?"
Tiana Thorne smiled and nodded, "Yep, I got it, Aiden."
Julian Ford looked at her worried face and felt a twinge of pain in his heart, "Tiana."
"I’m here."
He said, "I’m fine."
Tiana knew he didn’t want her to worry, "I know you’re fine, but you can’t stay sick."
Julian smiled and then asked her, "Have you seen the fourth brother yet?"
"Not yet."
Hearing this, Julian smiled, his lips curving into a proud smile as he raised an eyebrow, "You ca back and the first person you visited was , Tiana. Do you think if he finds out, he might be so angry he’d want to tear apart?"
Tiana chuckled at that and asked, "Brother, is Aiden’s possessiveness really that strong?"
Julian seed to find her words amusing and laughed, "Silly girl, when it cos to matters of the heart, it’s usually n who are the most possessive. And, from what I know about him, it’s likely even more so."
Tiana actually liked this kind of possessiveness, but it also felt a bit far-fetched, "But you’re my brother, not soone else."
"When possessiveness strikes, it doesn’t matter if it’s a brother. Even if it were Dad, he’d want to tear him apart too."
Tiana smirked mischievously, curling her lips playfully, "Then tell , if he did try to tear you apart, should I help him or not?"
Julian raised an eyebrow, "I’m your real brother."
"Yes, yes, even with a high fever, you can still think of these things. Second brother, I bet when you fall in love, you’ll beco a paranoid maniac. If your girlfriend talks to another man more than a sentence, you wouldn’t be able to handle it."
Julian’s phoenix eyes narrowed slightly as he laughed slowly, "I’d love to know which woman in this world could turn into a paranoid maniac for her."
"There will be one, and when that ti cos, I’ll side with my sister-in-law, not you."
Just then, Maxim returned with the hot water. Seeing the two of them chatting and laughing, he couldn’t help but smile as well, his gentle eyes gradually softening.
The feeling of family being together is perhaps the most blissful of all.
After half an hour of fussing around, Tiana finally said, "Second brother, get so sleep and you’ll feel better."
"Mm."
"Alright, I’ll head out now."
Julian also started to feel a bit tired and nodded, "Okay."
After leaving his room, Tiana looked at her big brother, "Brother, could you take to Aiden’s room now?"
"Sure."
To him, whatever Tiana said was an imperial decree, and he certainly wouldn’t refuse.
He pushed her to Aiden Shaw’s door and knocked.
"It’s not locked."
His low voice ca through.
Maxim pushed the door open and entered.
Tiana raised her eyes and saw him sitting by the window, holding a docunt in his hand, engrossed in reviewing it.
It wasn’t until Tiana ca in that he put it away on the bedside table.
She sensed that his mood wasn’t too positive and inadvertently thought of the words her second brother had just said.
