An Unexpected Encounter at Shrek Academy
Seeing the two figures perched on the rooftop, School Master Ning—Ning Fengzhi's—pupils narrowed slightly. He let out a cold laugh. "Well, I wondered who it was. Turns out it's the Poison Douluo, Dugu Bo".
With a flash, Dugu Bo and the strikingly handso young man beside him, Tang Chen, instantly appeared at the entrance of Shrek Academy.
Tang San's heart skipped a beat as he gazed at the young man with long blue hair next to Dugu Bo. An intensely familiar feeling surged through him. He stared intently, and the more he looked, the more certain he was that he had seen this person before, yet he couldn't place when or where. Yu Xiaogang and Flender shared the exact sa feeling.
"School Master Ning, I never expected to et you here today," Dugu Bo said, his hands clasped behind his back, his gaze coldly sweeping over the Shrek Academy mbers.
"Heh-heh, Poison Douluo, it's been several months, and I didn't expect you to look even more robust," Ning Fengzhi replied, noticing that Dugu Bo's hair had turned completely black. He continued, "It seems your poison cultivation has advanced quite a bit".
"Just a stroke of luck," Dugu Bo chuckled, deliberately mimicking Tang Chen's tone.
Hearing this, Tang Chen paused, then looked up at Dugu Bo with an extrely strange expression, thinking to himself, 'Damn, when did this old guy start imitating ?'.
Ning Fengzhi then shifted his attention to Tang Chen. He noted the latter's nearly perfect handsoness, his outstanding and cool deanor. A hint of surprise flashed in his eyes. With a touch of curiosity and playfulness, he asked Dugu Bo: "Is this your grandson-in-law, Poison Douluo? Or is he a Disciple you've recently taken in?".
Dugu Bo was montarily taken aback, then burst into roaring laughter, patting Tang Chen's shoulder. His response, however, left everyone, including Sword Douluo—Chen Xin—completely bewildered.
"My grandson-in-law? Ha-ha, I wish! As for a Disciple? I'm afraid I don't have the qualifications to be his teacher! It's good enough if he doesn't have to guide !".
Ning Fengzhi and Sword Douluo, who was standing nearby, exchanged astonished glances. They both cast questioning looks at Tang Chen.
Dugu Bo was a powerful Titled Douluo at Level 91 to 99, yet he claid he wasn't qualified to teach this blue-robed young man. They wondered who he was and what power stood behind him.
Could he be from Spirit Hall? After all, on the Douluo Continent, if a Titled Douluo announced they were taking a Disciple, the line would likely stretch from there all the way to the Star Dou Great Forest.
Just as everyone was feeling a bit speechless, Tang Chen stepped forward and bowed slightly. "Junior Xiao Yan greets School Master Ning and Sword Douluo!" Since he had altered his appearance, he naturally didn't want Tang San to know his true identity.
"Tsk, tsk, not bad. A talented young man, and his strength doesn't seem weak either. This little fellow seems quite extraordinary," Ning Fengzhi comnted with a gentle smile.
It was then that Sword Douluo's expression turned frigid. He suddenly spoke in a chilling, grim tone: "Poison Douluo, are the words spoken by the Shrek Academy mbers just now true?".
"Hahahaha—"
Hearing this, Dugu Bo was first startled, then let out a sinister, echoing laugh that pierced the sky. At the sa mont, a dazzling green light erupted from his body, spreading out in all directions like a poisonous mist. As the green light diffused, he slowly began to walk, approaching the Shrek Academy mbers step by step.
"True or not... if I poison them, wouldn't I know?" Dugu Bo let out a bizarre cackle, a green light flickering ominously in his eyes.
Upon hearing this, Tang San's face instantly went pale. Yu Xiaogang and Flender's expressions also changed drastically. None of them had expected that the Poison Douluo, who was fad for his poison cultivation, would also arrive at Shrek Academy today.
"What do you want?"
Seeing Dugu Bo's actions, Tang San's body involuntarily trembled. He thought sothing was wrong, and his Spirit Power surged. With a flicker of movent, he attempted to use his Ghost Shadow Perplexing Track to escape the scene.
However, the mont his body moved, Dugu Bo simply raised one hand, gently pressing his palm towards the Void Realm. Instantly, an invisible and imnse oppressive force descended upon Tang San, like a giant mountain pressing down. He felt his entire body tighten, becoming rigid in place, completely unable to move.
"Trying to run? Didn't you just say that if you were poisoned by my Jade Phosphorous Serpent, your vitality would disappear? Co on, then I'll use you for an experint today!" The green light in Dugu Bo's eyes suddenly blazed. His figure flickered, and he was already standing in front of Tang San, raising his hand to grab him.
"First Spirit Ability, Binding!" "Second Spirit Ability, Parasite!" "Third Spirit Ability, Spider Web Restraint!"
Enduring the pressure, Tang San's three Spirit Rings—two yellow and one purple—shone brightly at the sa ti. His Blue Silver Grass moved on its own, frantically entwining towards Dugu Bo.
However, a strange scene occurred: as soon as Tang San's Blue Silver Grass touched Dugu Bo's body, it silently lted away, like ice and snow falling onto a fire. The very next mont, Dugu Bo's hand had gripped Tang San's throat.
The suffocating pressure was imdiate. Tang San's breathing beca shallow and rapid, his chest heaving violently. His face quickly turned crimson, and the chilling aura of death completely engulfed him.
At this critical mont, with a soft 'thump,' the Eight Spider Lances on Tang San's back almost subconsciously pierced outward simultaneously. Purple light erupted, and the potent poison they carried was fully activated.
But just as the Eight Spider Lances were about to stab Dugu Bo's body, a green light emanated from him. This green light instantly blocked the Eight Spider Lances. The Eight Spider Lances stabbed at the green light, only stirring up ripples of erald green, but they could not penetrate it at all.
"This is... an External Spirit Bone!?"
Gazing at the eight spider legs that had suddenly burst forth from Tang San's back, an intense, greedy glint flashed in Dugu Bo's eyes, as if he were looking at a priceless treasure.
On the other side, Sword Douluo and Ning Fengzhi's eyes also fell upon the eight spider legs extending from Tang San's back. Both of their pupils contracted slightly, and a look of disbelief flashed in their eyes.
A Spirit Bone! And an External Spirit Bone at that! Even though they held high positions and had seen countless rare treasures, seeing such a thing on a teenage Spirit Master was still shocking.
However, this shock did not turn into greed. Ning Fengzhi's eyes quickly returned to a calm state, and Sword Douluo's expression also faded. With their knowledge, they could naturally tell at a glance that these eight sinister, jet-black spider legs clearly carried a strong poison attribute aura.
Although Spirit Bones were precious, they also had to be compatible with one's own attribute. For them, the Eight Spider Lances not only didn't suit them, but absorbing them might even be harmful. Therefore, Ning Fengzhi and Sword Douluo were only slightly surprised, and they didn't say much more.
A poison-attribute External Spirit Bone, however, was completely different for Dugu Bo, who specialized in poison cultivation. Wasn't this an External Spirit Bone specifically tailored for him?.
"Hahahaha! I never expected it! You, young man, actually brought this old man a great gift today!" After Dugu Bo saw the Eight Spider Lances extending from Tang San's back, he was first stunned, then a look of wild joy flashed in his eyes, and he burst into laughter, looking up at the sky
