Watching Xiao Hongchen's fervent look, as if he couldn't wait to jump into the blueprint, Kong Mingan couldn't help but smile slightly, montarily unsure of what to say.
After a brief pause, he patted Xiao Hongchen's shoulder: "Don't worry, you will have it."
Xiao Hongchen's eyes instantly beca fervent: "Really?!"
"Absolutely," Kong Mingan nodded, but since he couldn't directly reveal his grandfather's ch project, he only affird,
"Your modified blueprint is definitely feasible, however, the requirents for the Materials will be higher."
"Materials are not a problem!" Xiao Hongchen imdiately declared, "I'll go forge right now! I will strive to produce the Materials that et the requirents as soon as possible!"
With that, he popped a refreshing "Blue Silver Clear Heart Grass" into his mouth and rushed back to the scorching forging platform with great enthusiasm, going full throttle.
ng Hongchen looked at her older brother's retreating figure and sighed helplessly:
"I seriously doubt if I'll ever have a sister-in-law. Before, he was Cultivating every day; now, he spends all his ti in the forging room living with tal. Alas."
"Having a goal you love and strive for is actually quite good," Kong Mingan offered a comforting remark.
ng Hongchen raised her eyes, then imdiately rolled them at Kong Mingan, retorting:
"Do you think everyone is like you, where people flock to you even if you just stay in the laboratory?"
Kong Mingan wisely chose silence.
ng Hongchen let out a soft snort and then turned to business:
"Speaking of which, that young girl nad Wang Dong'er has been waiting at the Mingng Chamber of Comrce for six whole days, constantly asking to see you. How much longer are you planning to keep her waiting?"
"No need to rush. I'll go see her in a bit."
Kong Mingan's tone was calm, but he paused slightly, tilting his head to look at ng Hongchen: "Do you want to co along?"
ng Hongchen nodded without hesitation: "Of course. After all, you're the type who easily corrupts pretty young girls. If I don't watch you, heaven knows if you'll devour that girl completely."
"It wouldn't go that far, would it?"
"Hard to say."
The sa principle applied: she could trust her childhood sweetheart with anything. If he asked her to do sothing, she would definitely do it without hesitation, knowing he would never harm her.
But in this particular area, she didn't trust him at all!
... Not lingering long in the forging room, Kong Mingan simply took Xiao Hongchen's piece of "Half-Spirit Forged" tal as a sample, and the two imdiately returned to the Mingng Chamber of Comrce headquarters.
Stepping out of the spatial ripple, their figures appeared in the office area. Imdiately, a staff mber who had been notified in advance ca up to greet them, leading them to the outside of a room.
The staff mber stepped forward and opened the door with a key card, and the scene inside instantly ca into view.
It was neither an interrogation room nor a prison cell, but an ordinary, very comfortable-looking employee dormitory.
Soft spirit tool lighting filled the room. The floor was covered with a plush carpet, and bookshelves and green plants were placed against the walls. There was even a small round table covered with a clean tablecloth and several sofas that looked very comfortable.
And beside a single bed near the inner wall, the figure of a young girl was revealed.
She sat there quietly, her blue-pink hair appearing sowhat dim under the light, casually draped over her shoulders.
She kept her head lowered, clutching the hem of her clothes tightly, her entire deanor exuding suppression and unease.
Only upon hearing the door open did she suddenly lift her head. The next mont, her tense, wary, slightly stubborn, yet forcibly calm blue-pink eyes t Kong Mingan's gaze.
Just as their eyes t and the distance closed, Wang Dong'er felt a slight ripple in her third Spirit, the one that had been completely unresponsive and disobedient to her commands.
Although she still couldn't mobilize it, this faint fluctuation, caused by the proximity of the young man before her, completely confird the suspicion in her heart!
It was him, indeed!
Wang Dong'er understood imdiately, and a mix of anger, grievance, and desperate resolve surged within her.
She stared intently at Kong Mingan, as if trying to see right through him.
Ever since encountering the young man, she had used every thod she could think of, without drawing attention, to investigate his identity.
The result she obtained was that the other party was the only Bloodline of Kong Deming, the man known as the pillar of the Empire.
Rumor had it that he possessed exceptional talent and deep accomplishnts in spirit tool technology, yet he lived a secluded life. Specific information about him was scarce and he was extrely well protected.
Since the other party had done sothing to her yet didn't directly control her, instead letting her leave, it was clear that he held so leverage over her, making him certain she wouldn't just run away.
If she investigated, she couldn't find more useful information.
If she hid, she likely had nowhere to go, and might be captured the mont she left the Mingdu.
Under these circumstances, it seed she could only obediently clean herself up and present herself. If she didn't co, heaven knew what the other party would do?
This feeling of being controlled and having to submit inexplicably brought her a deep sense of humiliation.
Yet, she was helpless against it.
She was no longer the Young Lord of the Clear Sky Sect she once was. She had no capital for resistance.
The other party's status was too high, and the power behind him was too strong. She had absolutely no chance of fighting back. No matter what the other party did to her, she could only silently endure and digest it alone until he was satisfied.
Furthermore, she suspected that the disappearance of her Big Father and Second Father might also be related to this person, or rather, to his powerful grandfather!
If she satisfied the other party, perhaps she could obtain the information she wanted? Therefore, she had to co. She had no retreat.
And so, she ca. After suffering and waiting for six whole days in this room, which was comfortable but felt like an invisible cage, she finally saw him today.
Biting her lip, Wang Dong'er suppressed the sting in her nose and clenched her skirt tightly. While preparing herself ntally to face any shaless demand the other party might make, she decided to open her mouth and question him first.
However, before she could speak, Kong Mingan raised his hand and interrupted her words the next mont.
"Don't rush."
He said softly. Then, under Wang Dong'er's astonished gaze, the space beside Kong Mingan distorted, revealing a gray doorway.
With a calm look, he glanced at Wang Dong'er, his tone flat, as if giving an order:
"Let's go. I'll take you to see sothing. We can talk after we've seen it."
With that, he said no more, not even sparing Wang Dong'er another glance, and stepped into the gray doorway along with ng Hongchen beside him, their figures instantly vanishing.
Wang Dong'er froze.
Wait, they just left?
She hadn't said anything yet!
The speech she had prepared in her mind for six whole days was instantly rendered useless. Wang Dong'er had not expected such a strange turn of events at all.
However, looking at the gray doorway that had appeared out of thin air, Wang Dong'er struggled internally for a mont before resolutely chasing after them, stepping into the doorway, and vanishing as well.
