Mu En froze, subconsciously catching it. The stream of light imdiately rged into his mind. In an instant, massive mories flooded in, leaving Mu En dazed.
While Mu En was in a daze, spatial fluctuations, vast enough to make one tremble, erupted above the Golden Ancient Tree.
An incomparably huge spatial gate appeared out of thin air in the sky, directly enveloping the entire Golden Ancient Tree.
Under the horrified gaze of the many Shrek experts who had rushed over after sensing sothing was wrong, the Golden Ancient Tree, which carried the symbol and faith of the academy, was uprooted and flew directly into the spatial gate, vanishing completely.
In the center of Sea God Island, only a massive, bottomless pit remained.
Mu En stood rooted to the spot, oblivious to the surrounding chaos. Countless mories were uncontrollably surging through his mind.
It was the mory of a blue figure secretly devouring the Souls of others at the core of the Golden Ancient Tree!
He even recognized the appearances of so of those Souls; they were the deceased Pavilion Masters of Shrek throughout the generations, including his own teacher!
The accompanying information clearly told him that the blue figure was the mother of Sea God Tang San, the Blue Silver Emperor Ah Yin.
And her ability to Parasite here, devouring the Souls of successive Pavilion Masters to nourish herself and attempt Possession of the Golden Ancient Tree, was entirely due to the instruction and arrangent of Sea God Tang San!
Mu En's body swayed slightly, his face as pale as paper.
At this mont, his physical condition was exceptionally good due to the nourishnt from the Golden Ancient Tree's power—it was no exaggeration to say his lifespan had been extended by ten years. Yet, he felt no joy.
