In the early morning of Star Luo City, most shops on the streets were temporarily closed, but many taverns were still open. The beggar was startled awake. Seeing the other's clothes, he stared for a mont, but dared not speak his anger. He hurriedly scrambled up to hide. However, the man seed to have his ferocity stirred; two yellow spirit rings lit up on his body, and he kicked the beggar again, grinning cruelly:

As he spoke, the spirit rings on the man's body lit up again, intending to teach the person behind him a lesson. But as soon as he raised his hand, he felt a chill on his neck. In the next mont, the world spun.
He saw his own headless body still spurting blood. Then, his consciousness faded, his head hit the ground with an expression of shock frozen on his face. Blood sprayed from the headless corpse, and the head rolled to his feet. The dark shadow paused slightly, and then...
Heavy breathing sounded. This was a type of excitent, similar to the instinctive thrill a beast feels when encountering food. Tang San stared fixedly at the headless corpse in the distance, the crimson in his eyes appearing again and becoming more intense.
