The dim glow of dusk settled over the dense forest, casting long shadows that danced with the rustling leaves. A boy, no older than six, stood near a quiet stream, his silver-hued eyes gleaming faintly in the fading light. His breath was steady, but his mind raced.
"A fusion? A mutated Sharingan?"
The single tomoe within his irises was unmistakably a part of the Sharingan, yet its silvery hue was sothing else entirely. Sothing new. Sothing unknown. He needed to understand. In this world, power determined everything.
With slow, deliberate steps, he moved deeper into the forest, searching for a secluded area. A clearing near the stream caught his eye,a flat space surrounded by trees, isolated from prying eyes. This would do.
He took a deep breath, feeling his heartbeat steady.
"Let's see what you can do."
The mont he willed his eyes to activate, the world around him shifted. Details sharpened, movents slowed, and his awareness expanded. He could feel everything ,each ripple in the water, every rustling leaf, the subtle movents of insects hidden in the grass.
"First… my perception. Everything feels sharper, clearer… like I can see things in slow motion."
Testing his new senses, he picked up a small rock and tossed it into the air. The mont it left his fingers, his eyes tracked its movent with perfect clarity. As it fell, his body reacted instinctively, catching it without effort.
He nodded to himself.
"Definitely enhanced reflexes."
Then, he focused on his vision. Without turning his head, he could see everything, every tree, every blade of grass, the very edges of his surroundings. His eyes widened in realization.
"360-degree vision… but no blind spot? This is the Byakugan's ability, but it feels different. Sharper. More refined."
The realization sent a thrill down his spine. If he had both Sharingan and Byakugan abilities, then this was no ordinary dojutsu. He had sothing new, sothing more powerful than either original eye.
Taking another deep breath, he decided to push his abilities further. He focused, pouring his will into his eyes. A faint ripple of energy spread outward. It wasn't strong, but it was there,a shift in perception, a subtle alteration in the air.
"A basic illusion… it worked. That ans the Sharingan aspect is functioning too."
After several more tests, he stepped back, mind buzzing with everything he had learned.
"Enhanced perception, basic genjutsu, improved reflexes, and 360-degree vision. This is a fusion of Sharingan and Byakugan… a new dojutsu."
His hands clenched into fists as the realization sank in. He had awakened sothing entirely unique.
"Now… what should I call this new eye? It's already more powerful with only a single tomoe."
He paused, deep in thought. Then, a na surfaced in his mind, a na that felt right.
"Shinragan. The fusion of Sharingan and Byakugan… this eye of mine shall be called...Shinragan."
A small smirk tugged at his lips, but it faded as another thought struck him.
"Wait… these eyes aren't just a gift. Is it my Martial Soul."
The mories of the boy whose body he now inhabited surfaced. In the Douluo Dalu world, Martial Souls awakened at the age of six, usually with the assistance of a Soul Master. Yet, he had awakened his without anyone's help.
"That ans… I'm special."
A sudden laugh escaped his lips, his voice taking on a playful, almost goofy tone.
"Just kidding! No way I'm that lucky."
Even so, he couldn't ignore the imnse potential of these eyes. With them, he could carve his own path in this world.
He exhaled, steadying himself. The excitent would have to wait. For now, survival was his priority.
"I need to move."
[Escape from the Forest]
The hours that followed were grueling. The dense forest stretched endlessly in all directions, the towering trees casting deep shadows over the uneven terrain. Despite his exhaustion, his enhanced perception kept him alert. His body ached, his stomach growled in protest, but he pressed forward.
"I have to say, this body is quite strong and resilient. Even with these wounds and just drinking water, I've been able to run for hours."
The thought was reassuring. This body may be young, but it wasn't weak.
Then, as the sun began to dip lower in the sky, he spotted it,a break in the trees. His heart leaped. A path. And beyond it, the outline of a village.
Relief washed over him.
"A village… finally!"
With renewed energy, he quickened his pace, stepping onto the dirt path that led toward civilization. As he drew closer, the village ca into full view, quaint, peaceful, with whitewashed stone houses and narrow, winding streets. Villagers moved about, carrying baskets of goods, chatting in small groups. The air was calm, almost idyllic.
Yet… sothing felt off.
A strange energy lingered in the air. Faint, but present. He didn't know what it ant yet, but it put him on edge.
Keeping his expression neutral, he walked further in. So villagers glanced at him, curious, but not alard. Others ignored him entirely.
"This doesn't seem like an ordinary village. But first, I need to get my bearings."
Spotting an older woman carrying a basket of fruit, he approached her cautiously.
"Excuse … where am I? What village is this?"
The woman turned to him, her face kind but wary. She studied him for a mont before responding.
"You've co to Holy Spirit Village."
His breath caught in his throat.
"Holy Spirit Village…?"
The na echoed in his mind, triggering a flood of recognition.
This was Tang San's village. The place where everything began.
He had been reincarnated in the Douluo Dalu world, and fate had led him straight to the starting point of the story.
To be continued...
