Bai Yu didn't notice the winking and exchanging glances between Hu Liena and Ah Yin, nor did he care about Ah Yin's teasing.
So much ti has passed, his skin has beco as thick as a city wall. They're all his own people, so let them laugh, it doesn't matter!
He then walked to the table, picked up a stead bun, stuffed it into his mouth, and mumbled his comnts while eating.
"This chef has been around for so many years, but he still hasn't co up with anything new. I was the one who taught him how to make these zucchini and egg buns."
"What are you doing over there? What's with all that eye contact? Co and eat, or the buns will get cold."
Ah Yin and Hu Liena paused, turned to look at Bai Yu, and rolled their eyes at him in unison, cursing him inwardly for being such a scoundrel who didn't understand won at all.
However, they didn't intend to discuss this with Bai Yu; it would be a waste of their ti to talk about such topics between won.
"Bai Yu, do you have anything to do later? If not, why don't you co with us and take a look around Spirit Hall?"
"I promised Sister Yin yesterday that I would accompany her to visit Spirit Hall. Do you want to co along?"
As soon as Ah Yin and her companion sat down at the table, Hu Liena invited Bai Yu to accompany them for a stroll.
Before Hu Liena could finish speaking, Bai Yu's eyelids began to twitch, and a bad premonition arose within him.
He then realized that he had guessed correctly. This visit was not much different from shopping, so there was no way he would go!
"You guys go ahead and explore, I won't go. Our Pope is nowhere to be found, I need to go find her, this matter needs to be resolved."
"Besides, what's so great about Spirit Hall? It's just a big mountain in the center with a few buildings on it. You'd be better off staying ho for a while."
After hearing what Bai Yu said, Hu Liena gritted her teeth, wishing she could bite him.
"Hmph, if you don't want to go, then you don't want to go. Why make excuses? I know you too well. Ever since we were kids, whenever you heard about shopping or going out, you wanted to hide in your room and never co out."
"If you don't want to go, fine. Sister Yin and I will go on our own. We don't need you. Go find your Pope!"
Bai Yu chuckled. This little fox had beco much bolder after being given away for free. He then reached out and pinched her fair and tender cheek.
"Hey, since you already know that, you still want to go? I think you just need to be taught a lesson."
"Besides, I didn't make any excuses. I really intend to go find our cheap teacher later."
Ah Yin, watching the two bickering, smiled and thought to herself, "They're childhood sweethearts, their relationship is really good."
After a while, the three finished breakfast. Hu Liena took Ah Yin to visit the Spirit Hall, while Bai Yu went out and headed straight for Bibi Dong's residence in the Pope's Palace.
When he arrived, he didn't go straight in through the main gate. Instead, he sneaked through the window, afraid that if he went in directly, he wouldn't be able to find anyone.
"Tsk, she's really not here? That's impossible. If she's not here, where else could she be? She couldn't possibly be hiding outside, could he?"
Bai Yu stood in Bibi Dong's bedroom, looking sowhat bewildered, muttering to himself.
After he ca in, he searched through each room, but he didn't find a single person, which surprised him.
"I really don't believe it, Bibi Dong, that you can fly or sothing."
As Bai Yu finished speaking, he raised his finger and touched his brow, beginning to sense the location of his martial spirit.
"Hey, I found you! Teacher, don't bla for being cheeky. Why did you have to hide from ? You could have just co out and shown up."
With a smile in his eyes, Bai Yu walked to the wall next to the dressing table, knocked on it, and then used his soul power to transmit a sound inside.
"Teacher, stop hiding, co out. I know you're inside. If you don't co out, I'll go in and find you."
After a while, there was still no movent inside. Bai Yu chuckled and shook his head helplessly, then began to search for the secret chamber chanism.
"Squeak!"
As he twisted a decoration on the dressing table, the wall next to him began to slowly open, revealing a downward staircase.
Bai Yu stepped inside and snapped his fingers, instantly illuminating the previously dimly lit underground chamber.
Bai Yu shifted his gaze and scanned the surroundings. It was a simple training chamber containing only a bed, a table, and two chairs.
Although he didn't see Bibi Dong, there was an irregular curve under the blanket on the bed, as if sothing was hidden there.
Bai Yu slowly walked forward, sat on the edge of the bed, patted the blanket, and said with a smile in her voice:
"Teacher, still hiding? I'm already here, and you're still pretending not to know? What, trying to be an ostrich in the desert? You think hiding your head will make you safe?"
After Bai Yu finished speaking, Bibi Dong, who was under the covers, remained unmoved and refused to co out no matter what.
"Tsk, you're really persistent. Looks like calling you 'teacher' won't work. So what should I call you? How about Dong'er?"
"Dong'er, your man is here to see you. Why aren't you coming out? If you keep hiding, I'm going to pull off the covers."
Bai Yu's cry of "Dong'er" made Bibi Dong, who was under the covers, completely lose her composure. She threw off the covers, her face flushed, and looked at Bai Yu with embarrassnt and anger in her eyes.
"You bastard, I'm your teacher! How dare you be so disrespectful? How dare you call Dong'er? And who are you to call that?"
After saying this, Bibi Dong's eyes began to dart away again. She then took a deep breath and tried her best to calm herself down.
"Little Fish, your teacher has encountered a problem with her cultivation and is currently in seclusion to recuperate. You shouldn't have co in; you'd better leave imdiately!"
Upon hearing Bibi Dong's words, Bai Yu's expression was a half-smile, and he thought to himself, "Leave? I've already co all this way, how could I possibly leave?"
He imdiately reached out and pulled her into his arms.
"Oh ho, now you rember you're my teacher? Where did your guts go before? Good grief, you even went into seclusion and refused to see . You think you can fool ?"
"What's wrong? Getting tougher with clothes on? I vaguely rember soone holding like that before. Who was that person?"
Bibi Dong's pupils trembled, and she froze. Bai Yu's words made her both angry and annoyed, but even more so, embarrassed.
At the sa ti, she kept cursing herself in her heart, wondering why she had acted so stupidly and lost her mind.
'What should I do now? Why isn't there a crack in the ground where I can crawl into?'
After thinking for a long ti, Bibi Dong finally gritted her teeth and decided to play the rogue, pretending that nothing had happened and refusing to admit it!
"Bai Yu, how dare you! What nonsense are you spouting? Not only did you disturb my seclusion, but you also dared to lay a hand on ! Who gave you the audacity?"
"I'm warning you, get out of here right now! Don't think that just because you have so influence in the Elders' Hall, you can ignore your teacher!"
