"But he's a God King after all. Can we really fool him?" Gu Yuena asked with a trace of worry. "If his true body in the God Realm notices anything amiss, then you and Da Ming might…"

"…" Er Ming fell silent.

Gu Yuena gave a slight nod, understanding, and could only sigh softly.

"If—just if—I can restore myself to the Dragon God, do you think I could kill Tang San?"

"Dragon God?!" Er Ming's eyes widened in disbelief.

"Well? Can I?" Gu Yuena asked solemnly.

"…Yes!" Er Ming nodded heavily. "If Lord can return to the Dragon God's peak state, you'd be enough to kill Tang San! My big brother and I stayed in the God Realm for a while—we know there are about five strong beings at the God King level. He's one of them. But it's said the Dragon God is the supre existence, presumably stronger than a God King. Killing Tang San wouldn't be a problem. But your road back to the Dragon God is every bit as difficult as destroying the God Realm."

"Don't worry about that," Gu Yuena shook her head. Her mind was already made up.

So what if she had to call a human "master"?

Face ans nothing. The future of the soul beast race is what matters most. With soul beasts suffering such oppression now, how could she sit idly by?

In Gu Yuena's eyes, she was a tragic heroine sacrificing for her kin.

But from Er Ming's perspective, the girl's pretty face was flushed, shy and bashful.

Er Ming: "…"

"Lord? What are you thinking about?" Er Ming asked oddly.

"Oh, nothing." Gu Yuena returned to her icy calm.

"Let's go."

Hands in her pockets, the girl shot Er Ming a sidelong glance and vanished on the spot.

"…"

The burly man's smile slowly faded.

Staring in the direction the Silver Dragon King disappeared, his face darkened in a way at odds with his usual hot temper and simple mind. "The Silver Dragon King actually wants to kill Tang San? Looks like this sliver of divine sense hasn't told and my brother a lot of things. He and the Silver Dragon King are mortal enemies…"

Would he and Da Ming really betray Tang San?

The answer was no. Don't forget why they sacrificed themselves back then… Xiao Wu. Now Sister Xiao Wu and Tang San love each other and have a daughter. If they truly betrayed Tang San, where would that leave Sister Xiao Wu? And to betray their forr master over a Silver Dragon King who only spouts big talk—wouldn't that be laughable?

But having soone else get rid of Tang San's divine sense—that he would do.

Because this divine sense is too stupid and bossy, pointing fingers at him and Da Ming. Who knows how long until the God Realm can reestablish contact—maybe a year, maybe a hundred. Until then, Tang San's divine sense would keep riding on the brothers' heads.

That constant restraint was too annoying. And he could also leave a "loyal" impression on Gu Yuena—two birds with one stone. Otherwise, if she really decided to deal with him, she could suppress him at will.

Before getting back in touch with Tang San's true body in the God Realm—before he had a thigh to cling to—he really needed Gu Yuena's "goodwill" to pass safely through this period.

Would that affect his loyalty to Tang San?

No. Because Gu Yuena had already helped him handle the final bit of trouble—the remaining fragnts of Tang San's divine sense. While no one noticed, that silver-haired girl secretly used divine power to help Su Wen clean up the aftermath.

So when he reconnected with Tang San's true body in the God Realm, he'd still be Tang San's good dog, still Sister Xiao Wu's good little brother, still a divine official.

Tang San would never know what his fragnt of divine sense did in the lower realm. At most he'd scold the brothers a couple of tis. Everything would fade into the dust of history, known to no one.

"As for Dong'er…"

He frowned, musing.

It wasn't just him—his big brother also felt no familial affection for this completely unfamiliar girl. After all, the so-called mories in her mind were all washed by the Clear Sky Sect's rear hall. Think about it: Xiao Qi went down to the lower realm at eleven, Wang Dong'er entered Shrek Academy at eleven…

The gap between those might only be a few days, yet most of Wang Dong'er's "happy" mories in the Clear Sky Sect were there.

Naturally, Tang San feared that altering mories in the God Realm would be discovered by Xiao Wu, so he entrusted the Clear Sky Sect's rear hall to modify Wang Dong'er's "so-called" mories of living there, making her firmly believe in her identity.

He and Da Ming both doted on Wutong. Even in the God Realm, they were like two guardian deities, silently protecting Wutong. But Wutong and Wang Dong'er are two different people. Loving Wutong doesn't an they'll love Wang Dong'er.

Wang Dong'er is just a tool to synthesize Wutong. Once Wutong recovers, she will inherit this body, Wang Dong'er's entire experience and mories.

So what Wang Dong'er should do is obediently listen to her first and second dads…

Er Ming's eyes narrowed.

Tang San was right about one thing: when Shrek's on break, they should take Wang Dong'er to the rear hall.

Clear away so rebellious mories that shouldn't exist, leaving behind an obedient Wang Dong'er, and then have her quietly prepare for Wutong's recovery.

"Is that what Er Ming said?" Su Wen's eyes narrowed.

"Mm! I didn't expect him to be so closely bound to Tang San and still risk tattling to . I really misjudged him…" The Silver Dragon King sat on the bed, swinging her long legs. Clearly, she was in a great mood.

"You said it yourself—he's bound that tightly to Tang San. Would he really betray Tang San?" Su Wen chuckled and countered.

"Huh?"

Gu Yuena froze for a mont.

"Tattling? What exactly did he tattle?" Su Wen shook his head. "He told you that once you beco the Dragon God, you can kill Tang San? Has he ever been the Dragon God? He's just stringing you along. Those lines sound sincere, but they're all empty talk. He never touched the core issues. Instead, you exposed sothing…"

"Exposed what?" Gu Yuena forced herself to remain calm.

"You exposed that you might have a chance to beco the Dragon God…" Su Wen exhaled a long breath.

"But when we killed Tang San's divine sense, he didn't stop us."

"How do you know he didn't?" Su Wen smiled faintly.

"The final bit of evidence—you personally destroyed it. When Tang San asks him later, he can just say you blocked his way under the stage."

"I'm going to find him!" Cold light flashed in Gu Yuena's silver eyes.

She turned to leave.

But Su Wen grabbed her.

"No need."

"It's true that Tang San can't contact the lower realm for now. Maybe he just wants to protect himself during this period. If you really settle accounts with him now and kill him, wouldn't that be a loss for him?"

"Take your ti with him—no rush. If he dies now, it might alert Tang San. If Tang San forces contact with Douluo Star at any cost, that'd be trouble."

"Mm…"

Gu Yuena fidgeted with her hands, feeling like she'd made a ss of things.

But Su Wen was holding her other wrist. His hands were bony, with long fingers, carrying a young man's vital heat. The girl's heart thumped wildly again. Master… how embarrassing. It's hard to say out loud.

After they sign the contract, will Su Wen force her to call him "master"?

Will he force her to do shaful things?

Su Wen, anwhile, looked baffled as the girl stead like an overworked engine, white vapor practically filling the whole hotel room…
