As the saying goes, cultivation has only three realms: ants, fellow practitioners, and seniors.

The reason we strive so hard in our cultivation is so that one day, when so inexplicable existence discovers us, they won’t look down from on high, shout "Ant!" and then slap us to death with a single blow.

Bai Xu didn’t actually possess a martial soul. It was only because the Spirit of the Plane resided within him, lodging its last wisp of primordial fortune in his eyes, that he beca a soul master—and was even gifted innate full soul power.

The Spirit of the Plane claid that destruction or reconstruction was entirely up to Bai Xu’s will. But if Bai Xu were to truly destroy the Douluo Continent in the future, he doubted the Spirit of the Plane would stand idly by.

Just because soone says sothing doesn’t an we should actually take it at face value!

Karma is never empty—what is owed must always be repaid.

"This is... The Plane’s Will!!!" Na’er transmitted her shock ntally. She had already lost count of how many tis her mind had been shaken today. It seed that maintaining her usual aloof deanor was impossible around Bai Xu.

"Indeed, Silver Dragon’s other half."

Back then, Gu Yue had told her that the Spirit of the Plane had chosen soone—a person with the ability to traverse past and present, whose eyes could pierce through all things.

But now... the Spirit of the Plane had taken residence within Bai Xu. That ant the Douluo Plane had placed all its bets on him.

It firmly believed he could lead the plane to glory!

This was a partnership, a mutually beneficial arrangent.

"So things can be discussed later. Our guests have arrived," Bai Xu said calmly.

As soon as his voice faded, several figures swished into view, blocking Bai Xu and Na’er’s path.

"Now that you’ve left Cloudsea City, where else can you run?" A refined voice sounded from behind the group as a figure slowly stepped forward. When Na’er saw his face, her brows furrowed slightly.

It was Ouyang Zhenxin—the sa elegant young noble who had tried to strike up a conversation with her on the train.

Who would have thought that soone who carried himself with such grace would resort to such vile actions? A beast in human clothing—was this the truth behind the mask?

"And you are?" Bai Xu asked, feigning ignorance.

"This young master is Ouyang Zhenxin. Abandon your little lover and run for your life." Ouyang seed utterly confident, glancing at the five elders behind him with a faint smirk.

"Young Master Ouyang, aren’t you disregarding federal law and worldly morality? The Federation absolutely does not permit the abduction of civilians," Bai Xu said with a frown.

Ouyang burst into laughter, as if he could no longer hold it in. "You really are naive. At first, I thought this young lady belonged to one of Cloudsea City’s great families. I wanted to clarify her origins and propose a marriage alliance. But it turns out you’re just passing through. In that case, I won’t hold back. Federal law? If I kill you and take her, who will know? Will the law know?"

"Attack!"

Bai Xu remained expressionless. As the five Soul Kings rushed toward him at blinding speed, he didn’t move a muscle. With just a thought, a ntal assault erupted from him.

The first attacker died instantly, his head exploding. The second collapsed as his spiritual sea shattered, brain-dead before he hit the ground. The third...

Back when Bai Xu was still weak, his ntal attacks could already injure Soul Emperor-level evil soul masters. Now, with the Five Elents fully unified, his spirit had grown even more refined.

From Ouyang Zhenxin’s perspective, the elders had barely taken a step before dropping dead in the most bizarre manner. Warm blood splattered across his face, freezing his arrogant expression in place. Disbelief flooded his features.

Three seconds later, the reality of his defeat finally sank in. Terror gripped his entire body, his legs turning weak as he collapsed to the ground, gasping for air. "Y-you... you did this? You monster!"

Bai Xu sighed. "Ouyang Zhenxin, actually—"

Before he could finish, his expression suddenly shifted. A golden sword had begun materializing in his hand, but it stopped halfway—because Bai Xu sensed the supervising examiner making his move.

"Hold it!" A loud shout ca from above.

Ignoring it, Bai Xu unleashed another ntal assault, extinguishing Ouyang Zhenxin’s life force in an instant.

"You—!" The Shrek Academy examiner roared in fury, but there was nothing he could do. He knew Bai Xu’s Heavenly Eye martial soul specialized in ntal attacks, but he never expected it could instantly kill Soul Kings. Did that an Bai Xu hadn’t gone all out during the academy tournant?

"Teacher! What are you doing here?" Bai Xu feigned surprise. "Perfect timing! These n tried to abduct a mber of Shrek and even threatened to kill . I had no choice but to retaliate!"

The teacher’s eyes blazed with anger. "This is a massive problem! Who gave you permission to take lives?"

"Oh, it’s a huge problem. These idiots didn’t even bother checking the identities of the people they were targeting before resorting to force. Go ask the Ouyang Family—do they dare lay a hand on the personal disciple of the current Sea God Pavilion Master?" Bai Xu shot back, his voice unwavering.

Even if this matter reached Yun Ming, the Ouyang Family would still have to co forward with an apology.

After all, Shrek’s notorious protectiveness was common knowledge.

The examiner froze, his gaze shifting to the silver-haired girl behind Bai Xu. She gave a slight nod, her expression cold and silent.

As a Shrek Academy teacher, he understood the weight of Bai Xu’s words all too well.

His face darkened. "Continue your exam. From now on, no matter what happens, I won’t intervene. I’ll stick to supervision only."

Na’er’s lips twitched slightly. This guy knows how to wield influence too well. The mont he dropped the Sea God Pavilion Master’s na, the situation resolved itself.

"Let’s go. The teacher will handle the cleanup. He’ll probably verify things with the higher-ups," Bai Xu transmitted ntally.

Na’er nodded, though her eyes kept drifting to the faintly visible Spirit of the Plane perched on Bai Xu’s shoulder. Strangely, the Soul Emperor-level teacher didn’t seem to notice its presence at all.

Da Huang remained utterly still, as if it hadn’t even opened its eyes.

"So, how was this little detour?" Bai Xu asked.

Na’er sighed. "I suppose it was a lesson in the sin of weakness. But this has nothing to do with Brother. He’s always been kind."

"Of course. I just wanted you to see more of the world—and to finish my exam in the process."

"Doesn’t those n’s deaths weigh on you? If not for your manipulations, they wouldn’t have died," Na’er pressed.

"I’ll bear the consequences. Let them co if they dare." Bai Xu didn’t deny it, though a trace of lancholy flickered across his face. He glanced back at the corpses on the ground and murmured, "Such a pity."

In that mont, Na’er finally caught a glimpse of Bai Xu’s true nature. A realization struck her: This expression... this indifference... He doesn’t respect life at all.

"Bai Xu," she asked suddenly, "how do you view the humans of Douluo?"

Bai Xu blinked. "With my eyes."

"I an your thoughts about them!"

"Why should they matter to ? If you’re asking about people connected to , I might have an answer. But ’humans of Douluo’ as a whole? What, are you planning to destroy the world?"

Na’er: "..."

Suddenly, Bai Xu smiled aningfully. "There are many ways to end a ga, Na’er." He then pointed at the Spirit of the Plane on his shoulder. "This is one of them."

Na’er was puzzled, but since Bai Xu didn’t elaborate, she didn’t press further. Silently, she followed him as they walked away. When she glanced back, the bodies by the roadside had already been taken away by the examiner.
