Now reading: Chapter 102: Five Years in a Flash — Raditz Descends from Dragon Ball: A Life Without Regrets, a Action novel by NightShard2153.

In the blink of an eye, five years had passed since the 23rd World Martial Arts Tournant.

Two years ago, during the 24th Tournant, Goku neither participated nor attended. As expected, Krillin claid the championship once again.

After that victory, Krillin's popularity reached its peak. Endorsents poured in from all directions. Now recognized worldwide as the reigning champion, he was so busy filming comrcials that he barely had ti to rest.

It almost felt as if, with him around, the world would remain peaceful forever.

anwhile, Goku enjoyed a life that could only be described as heavenly, accompanied by Bulma, Chi-Chi, and the others. als appeared without effort, clothes were ready at hand, and every night soone took turns keeping him company. Life was bliss.

Happy days always passed too quickly.

Over those five years, Goku had three children.

Bulma, Chi-Chi, and Launch each gave birth.

Bulma's child was a girl. She nad her Son Bra, and Goku fully supported it.

Chi-Chi's child was a boy. Goku suggested naming him Gohan, in mory of Grandpa Gohan. The Ox-King was delighted, so the na was decided.

Launch also had a daughter, nad iqi.

Like her mother, she changed personality when she sneezed. But unlike Launch's more dangerous shift, iqi's transformation was harmless. With blue hair, she was shy and socially awkward. With blonde hair, she beca incredibly outgoing, chatting effortlessly with anyone.

On her first day of kindergarten, she morized the nas of students from all three classes—small, middle, and senior. Even the shop owners along the route to school all knew her.

With three children, Goku also successfully mastered the Kaio-ken.

To push it to higher multipliers, he asked Bulma to build a gravity chamber.

In the fourth year, the resort in the suburbs of West City was completed, and Bulma's gravity chamber was finally developed. Due to Earth's limited technology—humanity hadn't even left the solar system yet—the chamber's maximum gravity wasn't extraordinarily high. Still, it was more than sufficient for Goku's current level.

The gravity chamber was installed at the resort. Since then, Goku frequently trained there.

Today was no different. After exhausting himself inside the gravity chamber, Goku now lounged beneath a sun umbrella, holding a coconut and sipping the juice while basking in the warmth.

A gentle breeze brushed past. He felt utterly relaxed.

"This is the life… Resort living is amazing. If only there were a beautiful woman here too…"

Suddenly, he sensed a powerful, unfamiliar Ki descending upon Earth.

Goku glanced at the calendar and froze.

"Whoa… Five years already? That Ki… It's strong. That must be Raditz."

Just then, a long-legged beauty in a bikini walked over and snatched the coconut from his hand.

"You said you were training every day. Looks like you're pretty good at relaxing instead."

Goku removed his sunglasses.

"Snow, what are you doing here?"

"Am I not allowed to?"

"That's not what I ant…"

She smiled softly. "I missed you."

Back when Snow was younger, she had been small and delicate. After marrying Goku and living comfortably, she had grown taller. Now she had long legs, a slender waist, and a striking figure.

She spread a towel over the sun-heated lounge chair beside him and lay down.

"Goku, I'm sunbathing too. Help put on sunscreen."

She lifted a hand and loosened the ties of her swimsuit.

Goku glanced at her smooth back, then at the sunscreen bottle.

"Snow, you should put that back on. I'm worried soone might see…"

She blinked. "What's gotten into you? This is our private resort. There are guards at the entrance. Who could possibly get in?"

Goku pointed upward. "The resort might be ours, but the sky isn't. You're not worried soone flying overhead might see? I am."

Snow burst out laughing.

"Are you teasing ? There are barely any people in this world who can fly. And the ones who can? We know them all. What are the odds?"

Goku stood up. "Actually… I don't feel like sunbathing anymore. I'm going to take a shower. You still need sunscreen?"

She paused, then narrowed her eyes playfully.

"If you're leaving, what's the point of staying? I'll co shower with you."

But Goku had already sensed Raditz's arrival. He didn't have ti to linger.

"It's broad daylight," he said with a shrug. "You're not just showering. Sorry, I don't have ti right now."

Snow pouted imdiately.

"You've got ti to relax but not ti for ? You don't love anymore…"

"What kind of logic is that?"

She continued, "When Bulma or Chi-Chi ask, you never refuse. Why refuse ? I'm heartbroken…"

She pretended to wipe her eyes.

Goku sighed with a helpless smile. "Alright, alright. If loving you ans showering together, let's go. Quick."

Her fake tears vanished instantly as she happily hooked her arm through his and headed to the shower.

Far away on an endless grassland, a farr was startled by the thunderous sound of sothing landing.

"Huh? Was that a teor… or a UFO?"

Holding his shotgun, he approached the impact site.

At the center of a massive crater sat a spherical spacecraft, smoke rising from its surface—not fire, but residual heat from atmospheric friction.

"That's no teor…"

At that mont, the hatch opened.

Raditz stepped out and leapt effortlessly from the crater.

The farr stared at the towering figure—over two ters tall, with long wild hair and a tail—and panicked.

"W-What are you?!"

Raditz frowned at the weak human and tapped his scouter. The device detected billions of life signals. His expression darkened.

"So the inhabitants are still alive. What has Kakarot been doing all this ti?"

He walked toward the farr, disdain clear on his face.

The height difference alone made the farr tremble. He raised his shotgun, finger on the trigger.

"Don't co any closer! I'll shoot!"

Beep beep beep.

The scouter displayed the farr's power level.

Raditz sneered.

"Power level… 5. Pathetic."

He kept advancing.

"Don't move! I'll kill you!"

The farr fired.

The shot rang out—but had no effect.

Raditz casually caught the bullet midair and flicked it back. The projectile pierced the farr's skull instantly.

"Fragile creatures."

He began scanning for stronger energy signatures.

Soon, his scouter detected a powerful reading.

"Oh? That one's strong. Could it be Kakarot?"

He shot into the sky.

Monts later, he encountered not his brother, but Piccolo.

"Hmph. Not Kakarot. What a disappointnt."

He continued scanning, ignoring Piccolo.

Piccolo, who had initially assud it was Goku, prepared for battle. But upon realizing it wasn't him, his expression turned grave.

"Who are you? What do you want?"

"Don't flatter yourself," Raditz replied coldly. "I'm not here for you."

Piccolo snorted. "Then why are you here? Looking for death?"

Raditz didn't suppress his Ki. The overwhelming pressure made Piccolo tense, though he refused to back down.

"You've got quite the attitude," Raditz said mockingly. "On a low-gravity planet like this, I suppose you're considered strong."

"Of course," Piccolo shot back. "Want to test it?"

Raditz laughed. "Ridiculous. A power level barely over 300, and you dare challenge ?"

Piccolo frowned. "What are you talking about? Power level?"

Raditz stepped closer.

Piccolo imdiately fired an energy blast.

It struck Raditz—only to be completely nullified by the Saiyan's aura. The explosion kicked up dust, but Raditz's armor remained spotless.

"This… impossible!"

"Hmph. A re trick—barely enough to stir so dirt." Raditz smirked. "Now it's my turn. Let show you real power."

Cold sweat ford on Piccolo's brow.

Suddenly—

Goku's Ki surged dramatically in the distance.

Raditz's scouter blared.

Beep! Beep! Beep!

His eyes sharpened.

"What incredible energy… and it's heading this way. That must be Kakarot."

He glanced at Piccolo.

"I have business to attend to. You get to live a little longer. With my scouter, you won't escape my grasp."

He shot into the sky.

Monts later, he ca face to face with a man whose hairstyle and facial features closely resembled Bardock's.

That man was Son Goku.

Raditz's face lit up with excitent.

"It really is you, Kakarot. You look almost exactly like Father!"
