Everyone's expression changed at once.
"It… absorbed the energy?" Krillin blurted, staring in disbelief.
Android 20 actually looked pleased, his lips curling into a satisfied grin. "Heh heh heh… Saiyan energy really is sothing else."
Piccolo's eyes stayed cold as he stared at both Androids. "So you're the Androids. You finally decided to show your faces."
Android 19 and Android 20 both froze.
Android 20 narrowed his eyes, confusion flashing across his face. "Strange. How do you know we're Androids?"
He swept his gaze over the crowd, voice growing sharper. "And we've never revealed ourselves before. Yet all of you are here—so many of you—like you knew we would appear here today."
"Why?"
"Answer !"
Piccolo let out a low laugh. "Hmph. If you want to know… then beat first."
Krillin hurriedly stepped in, glancing around at the streets. "Wait—there are too many people in this town! If we fight here, civilians will get caught in it."
"We should move sowhere empty!"
Goku's tone was calm, but his eyes stayed locked on the Androids. "Nice idea… but don't count on these two agreeing."
Android 20 smiled faintly. "Move to an empty area?"
"Fine."
"But there's no need to relocate. Too troubleso."
As he spoke, his eyes flashed—two razor-thin beams shot straight down toward the ground.
Goku's pupils shrank.
He knew exactly what that ant. If those lasers hit…
Half the town would vanish.
In the instant before disaster, Goku vanished.
Then reappeared directly in front of the beams, his aura flaring as he blocked them head-on.
Dust and debris exploded outward, swallowing him in smoke.
"Goku!!" several voices cried out at once.
Then—
A powerful aura surged.
The smoke was blasted away as Goku stood there, unmoving. The only result was a bit of dirt on his clothes.
No injuries. Not even a scratch.
Android 20's eyes widened. "So you really are Son Goku…"
"You took that head-on and you're fine?"
Goku didn't waste ti. His gaze snapped toward the others. "Gohan—everyone—keep your eyes on 19."
"I'll deal with Dr. Gero."
Gohan blinked. "Dr. Gero?"
Android 20 imdiately corrected him, voice sharp with irritation. "Son Goku, are you stupid?"
"I'm not Dr. Gero. I'm Android 20—created by Dr. Gero."
Goku's mouth lifted slightly, almost amused. "Stop pretending. It's pointless."
"I've seen Dr. Gero's face. You might have modified yourself into 'Android 20'…"
"But I'm sure you're Dr. Gero."
For a mont, Dr. Gero looked genuinely stunned. Then he clicked his tongue, almost regretful. "Tch… I should've remodeled myself into sothing more handso."
"To think you'd see through imdiately."
He sighed as if it didn't matter. "No matter. You'll be dead soon anyway."
Goku's smile turned cold. "You? Kill ?"
"That's a good one."
He raised his voice again, firm and steady. "No one gets distracted. Watch 19."
"Yes, Dad!" Gohan answered imdiately, then shot behind Android 19 in an instant.
Piccolo and the others ford a tight circle around 19.
With them locking one Android down—
Goku inhaled, then roared.
Golden light exploded upward.
In a blink, he beca a Super Saiyan and launched at Dr. Gero like a cot.
Dr. Gero tried to react—
But Goku was too fast.
A single kick sent him rocketing into the sky.
Goku chased imdiately, staying on him like a shadow.
Dr. Gero, lacking pain as an Android, stabilized himself midair in an instant. His arm snapped forward—he threw punches the mont Goku closed in.
But every strike cut through empty air.
Goku weaved through them effortlessly, eyes filled with contempt. "Dr. Gero… this is all you've got?"
"You really thought you could kill with this?"
Then Goku moved.
His fist ca down like a hamr.
Dr. Gero barely had ti to register it—
BOOM!
One punch smashed him away, sending him spiraling.
He tried to adjust—
But Goku was already behind him.
Another punch slamd into his back.
Dr. Gero attempted to turn and block, but his body couldn't keep up.
A sharp cracking sound echoed through the sky.
"CRACK!"
A fist burst through his chest.
For a creature without pain, Dr. Gero still felt sothing far worse—
pure terror.
Because in that instant, he understood one brutal truth:
He had co out today only to drain a few weak humans and replenish energy…
…and he had walked straight into Son Goku and his entire group.
Worse—
Android 17 and Android 18 still weren't released.
If he died here, everything he'd built would be aningless.
His voice trembled with disbelief. "Son Goku… it's only been a few years…"
"How can you be this strong already?"
Goku pulled his hand back calmly. "It's not that I'm strong."
"It's that you're weak."
He raised his fist again, gaze rciless. "If you don't have any last words…"
"I'll send you on your way."
Dr. Gero's chest sparked violently, electricity snapping across torn tal—his core clearly damaged, teetering on collapse.
His eyes burned with hatred as he glared at Goku. "Son Goku…"
"Just you wait."
"When my ultimate Android awakens… it will kill you!"
The mont he finished—
BOOM!
His body detonated, scattering into countless fragnts.
Goku blinked, genuinely surprised. "…Huh?"
"That's it?"
Down below, everyone stared up, stunned.
Krillin muttered, dazed. "He… just died like that?"
"I thought Androids were supposed to be terrifying… but Goku killed him like it was nothing."
"Don't underestimate that old bastard!" Nappa snapped.
Raditz nodded grimly. "Yeah! Nappa couldn't even fight back—he almost got killed!"
Nappa's face darkened. "Raditz—shut up."
Tien looked at Nappa, then shook his head, voice heavy. "It's not that the Androids are weak."
"It's that Goku has gotten even stronger."
"He's in a different dinsion from us now… that's why he can crush them like this."
Krillin let out a bitter laugh. "Yeah…"
And right then—
Android 19 suddenly bolted.
In the blink of an eye, he vanished around a corner, slipping into a narrow alley.
Gohan's eyes widened. "Damn it! 19 got away!"
Piccolo's expression sharpened. "Chase him!"
Krillin and the others scattered imdiately, racing after him.
But before anyone could catch up—
Goku dove down like lightning and landed right in front of Android 19, cutting him off in the alley.
Android 19 froze, panic spilling into his expression.
Goku smiled. "Looks like Dr. Gero didn't install enough intelligence when he built you."
"I'm up in the sky. You're hiding in an alley."
"No matter where you run, I can see you."
He walked forward slowly.
Android 19 backed away step by step.
Then—
Gohan and Piccolo arrived behind him.
"Found you," Gohan said, eyes sharp.
Android 19's eyes flickered. He suddenly lunged—not at Goku—
but at Gohan.
Goku paused, slightly curious.
A hostage?
Gohan wasn't soone you could threaten that way.
But before Android 19's hand could touch him—
Piccolo's arm stretched like a whip, snapping out and seizing Android 19's wrist.
Android 19 flinched, then imdiately twisted his grip and locked onto Piccolo's arm instead—
absorbing.
Piccolo's eyes widened. "Damn it—!"
In the sa instant, Goku flashed forward and whipped his leg around.
A clean, brutal roundhouse.
"CRACK!"
Android 19's head flew off his shoulders, bouncing across the ground as sparks erupted from his neck.
His body collapsed, twitching—then went still.
Krillin jogged into the alley, wiping sweat from his forehead with a shaky hand. "Goku…"
"With you here, this victory is way too easy. It doesn't even feel real."
"Yeah," Yamcha said, nudging the wrecked body with his foot. "Two Androids… and you erased them without a sound."
But then—
a sudden jolt ran through Goku's mind.
Two powerful ki signatures were approaching fast.
"…Who?" he murmured.
"Vegeta?"
Goku frowned, sensing deeper. "It feels like Vegeta…"
"But there's another strong ki with him."
"Who is it?"
Before anyone could answer—
Vegeta dropped from the sky like a teor, battle suit dusty, clearly rushing at full speed.
The mont he landed, he glared at Goku. "Kakarot! Where are the Androids?!"
Nappa pointed at the remains. "Vegeta, you're late. Kakarot already killed both of them."
Vegeta's face twisted. "Kakarot, you bastard—two?"
"Why didn't you leave one?!"
Goku scratched his cheek helplessly. "You showed up late. What was I supposed to do?"
Then—
another figure descended from the sky, landing beside Vegeta.
A grown man.
A familiar presence.
His eyes trembled the mont he saw Goku.
"Dad…"
Goku stared, shocked. "…You're…"
"Future Gohan?"
"It's , Dad!" Future Gohan's voice was hoarse. He rushed forward.
The two of them embraced—father and son, separated by ti itself.
Goku's expression softened. "Son…"
"You've suffered."
Raditz kicked one of the broken Android parts and snorted at Future Gohan. "Hey, Gohan."
"These are the 'Androids' you warned us about?"
"Two Androids just got wiped out like nothing—and you talked about them bringing an apocalypse."
"You made us all train like maniacs for three years."
"Do you have any idea what those three years were like?!"
Future Gohan slowly released Goku, then looked down at the remains.
Confusion flashed across his face imdiately.
"No…"
"These… aren't the Androids from my world."
Nappa blinked. "What?"
"Then who the hell were they?"
"That one admitted it himself—he said he was 20, Dr. Gero!"
"And I nearly got killed by that old man!"
Future Gohan's gaze sharpened. "Dr. Gero…"
He inhaled slowly, voice turning grim. "No."
"In my future, the Androids weren't Dr. Gero himself."
"It was a man and a woman—beautiful, deadly."
"Android 17 and Android 18."
"Their strength… isn't sothing you can underestimate."
The mont he said those numbers—
Vegeta's lips curled into a smile.
"…So the real enemies are still alive."
Future Gohan nodded. "If this world has 17 and 18…"
"Then yes."
Vegeta suddenly burst into laughter. "HAHAHAHA!"
"This is great news!"
He turned to Goku, raising his thumb toward himself with arrogant pride. "Kakarot!"
"Since you already handled two Androids…"
"Then 17 and 18 are mine!"
Goku stared at Vegeta for a mont, then sighed like he was watching a disaster he couldn't stop. "I told you to quit doing that gesture…"
"At this point, I don't even need to think."
"I can already see your ending, Vegeta."
Vegeta's eyebrow twitched. "What did you say?"
Piccolo ignored him and looked straight at Future Gohan. "Gohan."
"Do you know where Dr. Gero's lab is?"
Future Gohan nodded. "I know the general location…"
Vegeta's eyes flared with excitent. "Then what are we waiting for?!"
"Lead the way."
"I'll crush them."
