Beerus yawned, barely even lifting his eyelids. To him, Goku was still far too weak to be worth serious attention.

"Saiyan, your strength is decent. I'll defeat you with just one finger."
Beerus stepped forward, one hand behind his back, raising only a single finger as he looked at Goku calmly.
Hearing this, Goku grinned. "Haha, don't worry, Lord Beerus! I'll do my best to make you use a second finger!"
"I look forward to it."
Beerus smiled faintly, finding this Saiyan rather amusing.
"Haaah!"
Goku shouted and charged forward, fists clenched.
"This is bad! Goku's fighting Lord Beerus! Everyone, take cover!"
King Kai panicked and ran toward his house, peeking out nervously.
"Haah! Haah!"
Goku launched a flurry of punches at Beerus, but every strike was effortlessly dodged.
"Hey, Saiyan. Is this all you've got?"
Beerus chuckled. If this was the extent of Goku's power, the test was already over.
"No! Lord Beerus, take this—Kahaha!"
Goku roared as he unleashed an Instant Transmission Kahaha.
Boom! Boom! Boom!
Explosions echoed across the area, smoke rising as a massive mushroom cloud ford where Beerus had been standing.
Soon, the smoke cleared.
Beerus stood there completely unhard.
"You're not bad. Among mortals, you're quite impressive."
He nodded in approval. "It seems Saiyans truly are a powerful race. Their past weakness was likely due to not understanding their own potential."
"Lord Beerus… you're incredible!"
Goku was stunned. He had thought his attack might at least do so damage, but Beerus hadn't even felt it—it was like a light scratch.
"Your power is formidable among mortals, but compared to divine beings, it's still insignificant."
Beerus smiled, his praise for Goku genuine.
"Thank you, Lord Beerus!"
Goku bead. "Then… shall we continue?"
"Of course."
Beerus nodded.
Boom!
Goku exploded with energy again and rushed forward.

While Beerus defended using just one finger, effortlessly countering everything.

Whis greeted him with a smile.

Beerus added.

Zeru paused, then frowned slightly. He looked at Beerus and asked cautiously, "Before coming to Earth… did you go to King Kai's planet?"
"Yes. I t that Saiyan you ntioned and had a little spar with him."
Beerus nodded.

Zeru's expression shifted.
