The two days of preparation passed quickly. Once the ti arrived, Whis and Beerus ca from the God of Destruction's realm to Earth, bringing Zeru and the others to a naless planet located sowhere in Universe 7.
Upon arriving, everyone looked around and saw nothing but desolation. The surroundings were barren, and even the air was extrely thin.
"This is the edge of Universe 7. The surrounding planets are all uninhabited," Whis explained with a smile, noticing everyone's curiosity.
"Then… will the planet where the tournant is held also lack air?" Goku scratched his head and asked.
"That's impossible," Whis chuckled, shaking his head. "If there were no air, how would you breathe? Forget fighting—you wouldn't even be able to survive."
As they chatted, the group descended onto the naless planet.
Before landing, Goku and the others glanced into space—and were imdiately stunned.
Surrounding the planet were several enormous Super Dragon Balls.
"So… these are the Super Dragon Balls… they're massive!" Krillin exclaid in amazent.
"Yeah! I can't even imagine how huge the dragon summoned from these would be!" Goku added, equally astonished.
Soon, everyone landed.
"Beerus, are these the strongest fighters of your Universe 7? Heh… aside from Zeru, the rest don't look like much."
Champa swaggered over, his face full of confidence as he looked down on them.
"Hmph."
Beerus glanced at him, clearly uninterested in engaging. Letting out a cold snort, he turned to Whis.
"Whis, set up the arena for the tournant. And… with this many people, we might as well prepare so spectator stands too."
Hearing this, Champa rolled his eyes and imdiately gave the sa order to Vados.
"Understood, Lord Champa."
"Understood, Lord Beerus."
Whis and Vados responded respectfully. They both raised their staffs and tapped the air lightly.
Ripples spread outward.
Monts later—
A massive arena appeared below, along with two grand spectator stands on either side. Above each stand hung portraits of Beerus and Champa.
"Lord Beerus, what do you think of the seating arrangent?" Whis asked with a smile.
Clap! Clap!
"Excellent, Whis! Absolutely excellent!"
Beerus applauded in satisfaction, then glanced at Champa, who was sneering nearby. With a cold snort, he led Zeru and the others to their side of the stands and sat down.
"Now then, for the first match, please have each universe send out a fighter!"
Whis and Vados took on the role of referees.
The mont their voices fell—
A figure leapt from Universe 6's side onto the arena.
"I'll take the first match! I'll go!"
It was a yellow-skinned, large-built warrior wearing a red vest. He crossed his arms, a confident grin on his face.
His gaze swept across Zeru and the others, filled with blatant disdain.
Seeing him, Zeru raised an eyebrow.
He imdiately recognized him.
Botamo.
If he rembered correctly, Botamo wasn't particularly strong in terms of raw power—
But his durability was absurd.
In the original storyline, even Goku in base form couldn't damage him at all. That alone showed how terrifying his defensive ability was.
"Universe 6 has chosen their fighter. Who will represent Universe 7 first?" Beerus asked casually, barely sparing Botamo a glance.
"To him, this guy was nothing more than filler."
"How about I go first?"
Goku's eyes lit up with excitent as he stared at Botamo. He had long wanted to see how strong fighters from other universes were.
"Goku going first?" Krillin was slightly surprised.
"I'll do it!"
Without waiting for approval, Goku stood up and jumped straight onto the arena.
Now standing opposite Botamo, the two locked eyes—
Both smiling.
Though Botamo's smile carried clear contempt.
"You're a Saiyan? Oh my, I didn't expect Universe 7 to have Saiyans too."
Seeing Goku's race, Botamo beca even more dismissive. His gaze was like that of an ard adult looking down on a helpless child.
In Universe 6, Saiyans weren't particularly special. So were strong, others weak—it varied greatly.
In Botamo's eyes, Goku was clearly the latter.
"Oh? You have Saiyans in Universe 6 too?"
Goku's eyes lit up with excitent.
In Universe 7, there were only a handful of Saiyans left. If Universe 6 also had them, he'd love to et them—maybe even exchange techniques or learn new transformations.
"Enough talk, kid."
Botamo waved a hand impatiently. "On the arena, act like a proper fighter. Let see what your Saiyan strength is worth."
He curled his finger, beckoning Goku forward casually.
"Heh, alright! But you better be careful, my friend from Universe 6!"
Goku laughed, then instantly powered up and dashed forward.
"Haaah!"
Both roared as they charged—
And clashed in close combat.
