"Unlocking potential? What's that about?" Goku asked with a puzzled look.
Levos imdiately explained the situation and introduced the Supre Kai and the others to the group with solemn respect.
Unleashing one's power beyond the limits of potential?
The very thought of it was thrilling, and everyone's eyes lit up with anticipation.
"It's a pity Levos's power level is already too high. I can't even imagine what his full potential would look like…" Piccolo said with a tinge of regret.
"Old man, can't we swap out 18 and Bulma for soone else? How can we just stand by and let two girls go into battle?" Goku scratched his head.
"No!" the Elder Kai snapped without hesitation.
"Don't be so rigid, old man!" Goku leaned in with a sneaky grin, whispering conspiratorially while winking.
Levos's brow twitched. This guy with thick eyebrows and innocent eyes… was he up to sothing again?
He quickly stepped between the Elder Kai and Goku. "Goku, 18 and Bulma are non-negotiable. You need to pick the other two already."
Levos still planned to absorb Android 18 to gain the potential-unleashing benefits indirectly.
At the sa ti, he wanted Bulma to beco stronger to better protect herself.
"In terms of raw potential, Gohan's the clear choice," Piccolo said, voicing his imdiate recomndation.
"I agree," Levos nodded, then pointed directly. "As for the last spot, I choose Piccolo."
Everyone looked surprised and waited for him to explain.
But Levos couldn't exactly tell them about Orange Piccolo, so he continued with vague logic.
"Piccolo is a rare genius among Nakians. His potential isn't far behind Gohan's. Plus, his Special Beam Cannon has saved us more than once. Boosting his strength will give us more options against Zamasu's group."
"Ah, I get it now!" Goku nodded in realization.
Future Trunks and Present Trunks also accepted Levos's reasoning.
The selection was settled.
Piccolo and Gohan exchanged glances and nodded at one another with mutual encouragent.
"Very well," the Elder Kai said softly, "since the candidates are chosen, let's begin."
He instructed the four chosen ones to sit in a circle.
Android 18 looked hesitant, but under Levos's sharp gaze, she was reminded of her promise.
"Don't forget what you agreed to," he said firmly.
"Tch!" 18 scoffed, grinding her teeth, then sat down next to the others.
As the Elder Kai slowly began the mysterious ritual, Levos's heart stirred with excitent.
Goku and the two Trunks watched curiously, while the Supre Kai and Kibito stood respectfully nearby.
Levos, knowing the original plot, understood the ritual would take quite so ti. He didn't bother joining the crowd.
Instead, he pulled out a crystal ball and began scanning the planet.
He had to locate Android 17 and prepare to use him as absorption material. That way, after absorbing 18, he could ensure a successful evolution.
Of course, if possible, Levos also hoped to find a few stray ta-Cooler replicas to absorb.
The chanical evolution route intrigued him too.
After absorbing one of the Coolers, he had a rough idea.
If he could absorb four or five more replicas of similar strength, he could complete the chanical evolution path.
But what would he beco afterward?
Would he have an independent chanical shell?
Or would he transform into a full chanical being and ascend through the machine route?
The future of Cell Max was bright, and that eased Levos's inner pressure sowhat.
Still, he sighed.
He didn't want to beco a monster. He wanted to stay human.
Damn Ginyu.
Thinking of Ginyu, Levos's teeth itched with irritation.
That guy must've been resurrected by Shenron too, right?
Once this crisis was over, he'd lock Ginyu in a room with a bunch of female frogs and let him taste true tornt.
As he drifted into thought, Levos suddenly rembered sothing.
What about Beerus?
Could the Elder Kai bring him back?
Now that the Supre Kai Shin had been revived, Levos wasn't sure if that guaranteed Beerus's resurrection too.
He'd have to ask the Elder Kai later, casually.
Just then, the voice of King Kai echoed in Levos's mind.
"Levos, two guests have just arrived on the Supre Kai's Planet!"
Two guests?
Levos instantly perked up.
That must an Champa and Vados were here!
This was definitely good news.
Although they couldn't intervene directly, the pair had helped Earth's side imnsely within the bounds of the rules.
Levos's impression of Universe 6's God of Destruction, Champa, had improved too.
Sure, he was short-tempered, impatient, rash, and arrogant, but he wasn't a complete villain.
And under Vados's strict supervision, he even ca across as a little endearing at tis.
As for Vados, Levos couldn't read her at all.
This young-looking Angel had lived for so long, her actual age might even exceed a billion years.
Levos quickly searched with the crystal ball for their location.
Soon, he spotted a spinning top–shaped building floating high above the Supre Kai's Planet.
They actually brought their entire temple with them?
Levos's heart raced slightly.
At that mont, as if sensing his observation, the entire temple turned into a streak of light and flew straight toward them.
The Elder Kai opened one eye slightly, sensing sothing.
Supre Kai Shin's face changed, and he stamred, "M-Master, what's going on? Soone's descending directly onto the planet!"
"Important guests are arriving. Go prepare a proper welco."
"Yes, Master!" Shin responded respectfully.
Monts later, the floating temple hovered above everyone's heads.
The Supre Kai and Kibito imdiately went to greet the guests.
Levos, Goku, and the two Trunks flew up toward the temple as well.
As they landed on the temple's plaza, a familiar figure rushed into Future Trunks's arms.
Future Trunks and Future Mai were lost in the joy of reunion, holding each other tightly.
Present Trunks looked on in confusion.
When he saw the Pilaf Gang whispering to each other in a corner, he froze.
"Wait a second… is that supposed to be my future girlfriend?"
"Huh?"
Levos blinked at that, then glanced over to see Mr. Satan and Videl standing nearby.
Sothing about this felt… off.
Could Present Trunks and Mai, and Gohan and Videl, really end up together in this tiline too?
Levos shook his head and cast those thoughts aside.
But just then, inspiration struck.
If Future Trunks and Goku worked together… could they create a Super Saiyan God?
